Overall we had a great experience with Laurie's RV.PROS:
Laurie and her husband were very easy to communicate with before and during our trip and I had a lot of technical questions about towing the trailer.
This is a large trailer - easily can sleep two adults in queen "master BR", 3 kids in Bunkhouse, and the table and sofa were of good size and comfort. Pictures probably don't do the size justice compared to others I looked at when booking.
Laurie provided the full 7 pin hitch and sway control.Cons:
We went dry camping without hookups and that was a mistake on our part. The trailer has been used with, and is intended for full hookups.
Trailer does NOT have a generator although the post leads you to believe it does. Again, not a factor if you have full 30amp hookups.
Trailer had a lot of the families stuff in it. Some we used like kitchen supplies, chairs, tools, some was just clutter. Probably par for the course with a rental from an active family vs. a rental company.Suggestions:
Towed with 2017 F150 2.7L V6 Ecoboost. It got the job done, but it's a big trailer fully loaded down. Definitely need a brake controller installed in your vehicle.
Check specs closely before you book
