the short review; absolutely perfect rental from top to bottom.
the long review;
communication; corey was quick and thorough in communicating with me from the initial request up until coordinating the return of the RV. he even responded immediately to requests from us for additional information while we were on the road about exactly how certain features worked in the RV while he was out of town. he was very patient with our questions and always thorough in his responses.cleanliness; no one wants to spend a week in an RV that smells like mothballs or is gross. this RV was super clean and everything was fresh. there were ample cleaning supplies stashed away so we could help keep it clean while on our trip. the included tea tree toiletries were a nice addition for the shower and the minty scent really lingered nicely to cover up any not so nice fragrances occasionally coming from the bathroom. if that failed, then they included fabreeze too!linens; all the linens were clean and looked new. when we were concerned about being cold a couple of nights, Jasie included extra blankets. those were really soft and cozy too. we were a party of 4. the first night my husband (6') an myself (5'9") cuddled up in the back bed. that ended up being a pretty tight fit for us so i moved to the banquet bed all the other nights. both of these beds were comfortable and the banquet was just long enough for me to stretch out. both our kids (10, 12yo) slept up top. they fit up there comfortably but were a bit afraid of falling off the edge. there was a curtain there but it would be really good to maybe rig up a removable railing or perhaps a net of some sort. they never fell off and slept well. linens were included for all these areas. the towels and washcloths were also clean and new. i left behind some clothespins (which we seemed to use for lots of different things!) and we had brought cordage too.grill set-up; that weber grill was pretty great. it didn't flame up and grilled our food nicely. we used it every night. the included cleaning materials were good to get it back to the condition we found it in and the tongs and long spatula were great for handling the food. we brought along some disposable tins, which were handy for handling the food and decreased clean-up. the chairs were in like-new (if not completely new) condition. the rug was perfect for outside the steps so all the dirt stayed outside. we didn't use the outdoor table but it would've been good if we didn't have a picnic table.RV; i researched this particular engine and chassis extensively but it surpassed my expectations. we averaged 17.6 mpg going 70 on a mountainous highway! the engine handled the climbs well and we weren't sluggishly climbing like all the RVs we passed. all the mechanical aspects of the RV worked flawlessly. i did forget to ask corey about the wipers...there seemed to be only an intermittent setting, which would be pretty slow for a driving rain. probably user error though and we only had light rain so it didn't matter :)cooking; the stovetop worked well and lit easily every morning and evening. the pots and pans were sufficient for all the meals we cook. my husband is a foodie so we made pretty extensive meals every day. the utensils, plates, cups, etc were all like-new and suited our needs. there were even measuring cups and spoons as well as a nice large colander and mixing bowl. there were stackable bowls for leftovers, etc. we hadn't used a convection microwave for baking before but got the hang of it after a failed brownie experiment! we made cookies, cinnamon rolls, bread and many other items. we couldn't figure out how to set a timer for the convection part though so just kept restarting it after it randomly stopped. i'm sure that was user error too but a little tutorial would be nice. there was a toaster and brand-new coffee maker (with filters!). there was even a griddle, which made making pancakes really fast. the included microfiber towels were nice for drying. we brought along some disposable OR towels too, which we used in many ways. there were some ziplock bags and tinfoil too. paper plates were really nice and i wished we had purchased more! there were just 2 coffee cups so a few more of those would be a nice addition. we had purchased paper coffee cups w/lids too but ran out after many coffee and hot cocoa mornings!fridge/freezer; i had reviewed this aspect of the RV as well and i ended up being really impressed! the freezer kept a gallon of icecream perfectly frozen. it also kept ice frozen. i was worried it would be a "cold" freezer but it was a freezing freezer, which was quite large! the fridge was also great. that was a bit tight with all the food we bought but we managed to fit everything in there. again, i think we had more supplies than many other renters would have. the cooler was perfect for sodas and beers and we actually kept that inside the RV the entire trip.storage; this little RV has a massive amount of storage space. we were careful to pack in collapsible duffles (which fit under the bed - and i would HIGHLY recommend for future travelers) but we had a ton of fly fishing gear. we also had clothing for cold weather x 4 people and groceries for 10 days (as i mentioned....we had a LOT of food!!). all this fit in the cabinets or under the banquet seats or in the drawers in the closet or in the cabinets above the bed. the bathroom sink area also stored a lot with all our toiletries fitting nicely. we used the bottom of this cabinet for putting away flipflops or other shoes :) i thought about hanging things from the rod in the shower but didn't want to mess with moving it out every time we wanted to shower. and we didn't really need more space as everything fit elsewhere.heating/ac; we used both of them! it was quite cool in yellowstone (24 degrees one night!) but also got pretty warm south of jackson. we fired up the units often and it worked well. the generator fired up easily and seemed pretty good with propane consumption. sometimes we had to start the engine for the generator to catch but that wasn't a big deal either. again, likely user error!!bathroom; the area is small but works really well. the tanks are relatively small so we were careful to use water sparingly when we showered. the shower nozzle has an on/off button so you can get the water to the right temp and then keep all the water on. you can hit the button to turn the water on/off without messing with the temp controls. the water heater worked really well and a hot shower after a day of hiking was wonderful! the toilet functioned as it needed to. one time it started to smell after my son used it. we were worried b/c the smell was REALLY bad in a very quick time period. i had remembered seeing some toilet tank pellets under the sink. i read the instructions, dropped it down the hatch, ran some water and literally 5 minutes later it smelled great again! that pellet was miraculous!!entertainment; we had downloaded a couple of movies and used an iphone lightning to hdmi connector to watch it on the TV. we used a male/male patch cord for pandora both to the front stereo while driving and to the rear area while parked. the outdoor speakers worked well and were easy to turn off/on depending upon our neighbors, etc. there are plenty of outlets dispersed around the RV but they would sometimes work and sometimes not... again, likely user error. they worked while the generator was on and while driving some of the time. the overhead lights would be on but the outlets wouldn't work. if we fired up the generator for 60 seconds then the outlets worked.overall, i don't have a single complaint about our experience. corey and jasie were really great to rent from. jasie knew we were coming in late to pick up the rental. she had the shoreline hooked in so the fridge was cold. she also had 4 bottles of water and a package of yummy sugar cookies. it's these little details that make this unit so nice. they clearly take care of the rv so it made us want to really keep it clean and perfect as well. i recommend this RV with no reservations whatsoever!sorry for the long review. i'm a bit OCD and always want our time away to be perfect. hope this review helps you plan your trip.
