It was our first time renting an RV and our first time camping as a family. We have three littles (9, 7, 4). We had a blast! The owners of the rig met us when it was delivered (and picked it up later) and explained how everything worked. We listened intently and tried our best to remember everything but it was definitely new to us. The good news is that the owners ensured we knew everything and gave us contact information should we need it.Here are some helpful tips for anyone first time RV-ing.
1, Bring a mat or a towel and put it at the base of the stairs to get in. Don’t allow shoes in the rig or you’ll be sweeping ALOT!
2 Bring fitted sheets for the beds, your pillows, and just a blanket to cover up with. You don’t need the whole bed set up like at home.
3. Consider showering at the campground instead of in the rig. It was just easier for us. Bring shower shoes!
4. Don’t fill up the fridge when you get there, or you’ll think it isn’t working.
5. The parks have wi-fi but it doesn’t reach the campsites, so bring a hot spot. Saved us with the tv and littles with their iPads at night.
6. Bring camping chairs and lots of trash bags. Always get rid of trash before going to bed.
7. You cannot have enough water or snacks!
8. Bring lots of bug spray!

I’d been wanting to come visit my family here in Texas and finally made it happen.This being my first time not only in Texas but renting an RV, I had a great experience. The RV was just as described and both Darrell and Stacie were very responsive and easy to communicate with. They were easy to reach out to and made themselves available for anything while on our trip whether it be to answer questions. The RV was clean and Darrell walked me through the RV and showed me how things work so that I felt confident and comfortable. It was a great experience and know that I will reach out to Darrell and Stacie again for future rentals when I come back to Texas again.

Wonderful rig! Perfect for kids or just extra friends who want to stay. Very clean and very well maintained. The owner, Darrell, was very helpful and explained everything we needed to know. We will definitely rent this this rig again when coming out to this resort.
