La van était absolument parfaite pour mon voyage. John a été vraiment super gentil du début à la fin — la communication était facile et il a toujours pris le temps de répondre à toutes mes questions.
La van était confortable, sécuritaire et je n’ai eu absolument aucun problème pendant toute la location.
Je recommande fortement cette van sans hésitation !

Where to even start! This is our second year in a row hiring the van from John and if we were staying in Vancouver it would be an annual thing no questions asked.
We had the van for two weeks this time on a trip around the Sunshine Coast and surrounding islands! We only used two campsites as we found lots of great (safe and stealthy) spots to park up for the night without bothering anyone. The van itself is super stealthy as generally you may not realise it’s a camper van at first look.
Many days were spent cooking with the door open onto beautiful sceneries. We had many an onlooker stop and ask us to take a peak inside with many compliments on our journey.
The bed is so comfy and the duvet kept us really warm on some of the colder nights (baring in mind it is only April)
We cooked three hot meals a day for 14 days and when topping up the propane at the end had a whopping bill of $7 that blew our minds.
Cannot recommend John, or the van enough. He made it so easy and was kind enough to give us a returning customer discount for our trip. He answered every question I could think up and responded speedy which made us feel really secure.
Wonderful trip, wonderful van, wonderful host. 10/10.

This is my second time renting from John (used the van without the heater in my first trip) and had a great experience again! We rented in January and having the cabin heater kept the inside super warm - I even had to turn the heater down after a little while because it was getting too warm inside! The extra long bed was really comfy even if you're tall (my friend is and slept super well).

Thank you so much for an amazing trip! John was such a great host and responded to all our queries with super helpful responses. He made it so easy to rent a van coming from overseas, gave us heaps of local recommendations and answered any questions we had before the trip and throughout!

Had the most amazing two weeks travelling around Vancouver and the Sea to Sky Highway in John’s converted van. The van drove beautifully, was super comfortable, and had plenty of space for everything we needed. Everything about the trip was perfect — from the van itself to the pick-up and drop-off, and John’s excellent communication before, during and after the trip. I’d recommend John to anyone looking to hire through Outdoorsy. This was my first experience, and he made it incredibly easy!

We had a great experience exploring Vancouver Island with this Van! The interior is beautiful and the bed is very comfy! John ist a nice host and always ready to help with anything.
There are some little things worth mentioning: The car itself is regular size, but due to the vent and solar panels it is overheight when it comes to sailing by ferry. Remind that when booking a ferry. The solar panel is working really good and the electric waterpump for the sink are awesome! The sink is a little too small for doing the dishes in there. We would recommend doing that outside the car to avoid flooding. Bringing some organizers for clothes and other things are very helpful for using all the storage, because one of the closets is difficult to get things out of ( due to the big, comfy mattress). That’s not a big problem at all, but might be good to know :)
Nevertheless we would love to come back and have another trip in this cute van with lots of space (you get even more if you turn the passengers seat what we always did)! Thank you for being such a great host, John!

We had a dream vacation during our three weeks in Canada, partly thanks to John’s van! We were very comfortable throughout our road trip — the bed is large and very cozy, we had electricity at all times to charge our mobile devices, and access to drinking water.
As for driving, as expected for such a large and heavy vehicle, you need to be patient and not rush things (especially on steep slopes). Besides from that, we want to highlight the great communication and kind treatment we received from John as a host since the first moment.

We had an amazing time in the campervan! Very spacious and comfy bed to sleep on, felt like home after 3 weeks through the rockies. Has everything you need in the van + storage space. John was an excellent host with quick replies and very helpful with any questions.

We came from Europe to BC for a month long mountainbike trip and this van was just perfect for us!
There is enough space to store all our belongings as well as the mountainbikes we brought with us, a comfortable bed, a well equipped kitchen and some camping equipment. The van is of comfortable size and really easy to drive.

Two first timers to Canada from the UK, wanting to visit the Island we had a look around at different RV/camper options for our trip and came across Johns listing on outdoorsy. We could NOT be more impressed with the level of communication and service we received. From start to finish John made everything so easy for us and went above and beyond providing helpful information and recommendations for us as novices.
The van was perfect for what we wanted and fulfilled all our needs! The bed in particular was shockingly comfortable and we have since invested in the same duvet and pillow sets because we were so comfortable.
When picking up the vehicle John walked us through every little bit of the vehicle and what it provides, we took a video should we need to remind ourselves of anything along the trip. This also helped us feel very secure that everything was in working order and to avoid any extra charges should there be an item already damaged that we hadn’t noticed.
The height of the van was so beneficial on our trip as there was a few days of rain where we spent a large portion of the day inside, we did not feel short of space or as though we were ontop of eachother, we were surprised just how spacious the vehicle is!
I could not recommend this camper or our host John enough, regardless of the rain we had the most wonderful trip and experience with the van. Faultless from start to finish!

We had a fantastic experience renting John’s van! From the start, John was friendly, helpful, and clearly explained how everything worked. The van itself was super well-equipped, clean, and incredibly easy to drive and live in. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable road trip through beautiful British Columbia. We truly had an amazing holiday thanks to this van, and would absolutely rent from John again. Highly recommend!
