I rented this Motorhome, knowing it was 15 years old, however was told it was mechanically sound. The first disappointment came when I was told it got 10 mpg (which is low), however I ended up only getting 7.50 mpg. The second disappointment, which ended up being a huge issue, is that the generator stopped working on the second day of our trip. Since the generator was not working we were without electricity and air conditioning (in the living quarters of the Motorhome) in 95 degree weather, for the final day and a half of our trip. This made it extremely uncomfortable. The third disappointment was that the air conditioning (in the vehicle) when driving was sporadic, in that is would work for 30-45 seconds, turn off for 30-45 seconds and repeat for entire trip. David, the Owner, did let me know the air conditioning was irregular and that it was a known issue with Ford, but was expensive to repair. My wife and I decided to take the vehicle knowing the vehicle air conditioning was sporadic, however did not expect it to be going on and off every 30-45 seconds. Due to these mechanical issues we had a very poor experience vacationing and received very little understanding and/or compensation from Outdoorsy even though we purchased all of the additional insurance that we thought would cover the issues we experienced. In the future, I will not rent through Outdoorsy and if and when I do rent a Motorhome again, I will rent a newer unit.
