Renting a rig that you can take off road is rare. Renting a camper that is well designed, equipped and well cared for is rare. Renting either from someone knowledgable, friendly and reasonable is rare. Combine all three and you have the unicorn that is Tobey and the Taco. I had a trip planned with my off roading group and realized that my rig wasn't going to be done with some upgrades in time and found Tobey and the Taco on Outdoorsy, just a few hours away, at a nightly rental price that offered a huge value.The truck is comfortable, drives great on and off road and is well maintained and nicely upgraded. The frame mounted camper attached to it is so wonderfully designed that it made setting up and breaking down such a joy. If you are experienced and looking for a genuine overland experience in a great set up, look no further, or maybe you are new and want to have a genuine overland experience but don't know where to start or how to check it out without building a rig, this is your chance. It's all set up to go, and before you head out, Tobey will spend the time with you going through how everything works.Suggest you rent from him, as long as you don't book if for when we want to rent it again!
