Horrible experience from the start. We thought an RV shop would make the experience super easy, trying to win a customer and potential rv sale. Wrong! They make you buy the black tank clean out line and water hoses. Just a way to sell accessories from their store. This trailer had a 12v DC only fridge, but not stated on the listing. Yet, they chose not to test or charge the single 12v battery in the unit before providing. If they had they would have known the battery would not hold a charge. This made for a super 'fun' weekend dry camping, trying to keep all our food cold and use the trailer, when it only worked while receiving full sun. Any less and there wasn't enough juice to power on the water pump. Their support team was no help and suggested we weren't operating properly or battery must have just died, but didn't offer any help. You'd think they could add a second battery for the highly 12v DC dependant system. They are a RV supercenter after all, but raises questions about their abilities or quality of service. They really did themselves and Jayco a disservice. Never rent or buy from this place.

Hi Todd, We are very sorry to hear about your experience. We checked the tech support side of our services and see that our team provided after hours support via messaging on outdoorsy with suggestions to take as well as support for the situation you were experiencing. This support was throughout the weekend, even after hours for our rental department.We do recall discussing the solar on the unit and best practices before you drove off with the unit. You had told us you would be in heavily wooded areas with no shore power and very little exposure to sun light. You had stated that you were utilizing a generator and we explained how the generator or the tow vehicle would be your only means of charging with no sunlight exposure. We also discussed the 12v fridge before you left and discussed turning the fridge down or off to conserve battery power.

We had a little trouble with our Jayco but they were helpful in getting the problem fixed as best they could and making it right in the end.

RENT FROM VALLEY RV AT YOUR OWN RISK!!The worst part? Not one apology from anyone but a quick "I'm sorry you're having these issues" through the text in the app. When I dropped the trailer off, I was told that someone would be calling me to talk about the rental and offer a refund. Nope, they couldn't be bothered. No phone call, no apology. Just a $200 refund (about 20%). These guys are a joke. They don't care about you or your experience, just your money.
