Hello, we are Mario, Tiffany, and Araceli (3 year old). We enjoy Glamping. We look to visit as many playgrounds in an area that we can fit into our 2 year old's waking hours. We enjoy RV Parks that include pools, playgrounds, and BBQ spots. Mario makes mouthwatering rib racks!

Communication was easy and fast. Mario and Tiffany made this quick family trip easy and stress free on their end until the end. ( Flew in from Seattle to Austin TX drove 3 hours to the for my step sons spring break vacation instead of flying him out to cold seattle. Hopped on a flight a few hours after returning rig. Didn't realize it was swsw weekend) . Unfortunately we were charged 214 dollars more because of gas which we filled until pump stopped which usually means your full. Due to trying to catch a flight we rushed and didn't check so unsure if this is true. Also mileage is only 150 a day giving us 300 miles so we were also charged for that. You get generator time which we did not use so I would think would offset it. Plus we fixed things the rig that were broken and never got a thank you just an "ok" when telling owner about something broke that kept us all up the first night. But you get what you get everyone does not think like us. Several things broken on the inside that we were literally having go buy tools to fix. But because they were so we thought we would be nice. Well won't make mistake again. Not saying they are bad people they seem very nice but definitely don't see things like most would. Like hey sorry about the banging all night from a broken vent hood or sorry table would not stay up until tightened.But thank you for going out of easy fix it. Instead we got you went over on mileage by bit and tank didn't quite get to full so were taking 214 more dollars! Oh well I'm not going to cry about it but this will definitely be our last time renting an rv from anyone. This left a bad taste in my mouth.

It was wonderful renting RV from Mario.
Our first RV trip and Mario made is extremely easy for us. He was very helpful.
RV was in a great condition and we all enjoyed a lot. Inwould definitely rent RV from Mario again.

We really enjoyed working with Mario and Tiffany. Their communication was great, and Mario explained everything in detail before we left so we could feel confident on the road. We slept 5 people comfortably, plus our little pupper. It made celebrating Thanksgiving at my brother's small lakehouse manageable! Thank you both, and we highly recommend Thor Sleeps Around for YOUR future vacation!

We had a great experience renting this RV from Mario. I had rented one RV in the past so understood the basics, but Mario explained everything well during our 30 minute introduction and was responsive to any questions we had via text or call throughout the trip which occurred during Thanksgiving week. We visited Lake Brownwood State Park which was about 2.5 hours away, and the RV suited all our needs and more. We'll likely be renting this one again for a future state park trip!

We had a great time in Mario’s RV. He made the process extremely easy and responded quickly to all our questions. He was very thorough in explaining how the vehicle worked and I would definitely rent from him again.

TERRIBLE experience. I can not believe we spent over $4000 to be treated the way we were by Mario. This was our very first RV experience and I made sure to relay that to him because I felt we would have a lot more questions then your experienced traveler. When we picked up the RV at his house he explained everything regarding the RV. Before leaving my husband noticed that a tire looked flatter than the others. Mario checked the tire pressure and said it was a bit low and he could take it to get some air (we were in a hurry so we said we would do it). He also made a comment that stuck with me. He said that when we got back from our trip that tire would need to be changed. Fast forward, we drove all day our first day and when we arrived the hot water was not working in the RV. My husband called Mario and he instructed my husband how to turn it on. We waited for the water to heat up and it never did so my husband calls Mario again and his response was, "well it was working when you left". My husband, being extremely handy figured out it was the breaker but that response from him was completely inappropriate. The following morning the tire blew out. When communicating this to Mario, he sounded upset. He told my husband that's what happens when you drive over 65mph. We were never told not to drive over that. We always drove the speed limit or less as we had another RV following us. I guess Mario forgot about the comment he made to us before leaving (tire needing to be replaced) because he told us that the RV had all new tires and implied that we were responsible for purchasing a new one. We ended up using his spare and outdoorsy sent a tire guy to inspect the tires and he assured us that it was DEFINATELY NOT a new tire. We rented the RV for about 12 days and he stopped answering our call or texts after day 4 or 5. Again, we spent over $4000 for this. Thankfully, my husband is very handy and solved all the issues himself but if you aren't like him, you would have definitely been in trouble. He finally responded toward the end of our trip when we started inquiring about return. With all the delays we had due to RV issues we asked if it would be okay to return the RV in the evening and he said it would be an extra charge. When we called outdoorsy, they said we actually had it free of charge until the following morning. We called to tell him this and again he was upset with us and said we needed to be held "accountable". We have no idea what we were "accountable" for but he left my husband feeling extremely uneasy about having to engage him upon the return of the RV. Thankfully, Mario sent his wife to deal with the return and she was very nice to my husband. We spent way too much money to be treated like this!! AND he ruined part of our first RV roadtrip experience.

I am sincerely sorry that your trip was ruined. Thank you to your husband for finding out that the breaker had flipped. We had not run into this issue before and was searching on our side for what it could be. Thank you for having Outdoorsy change the tire that had a blowout (originally stated that your husband was going to try to change the tire). Sorry if it was ever implied that you were at fault or going to have to pay for the tire. We don’t charge for tires and did not charge you for the tire. Sorry for seeming that we were not answering calls, we took a trip out of town for the weekend as well and the signal was not the best. For the timing of returning the RV, sorry that this became an issue, I did not handle this well as my wife was going in for pre-opp for her surgery the next day and I should have been calmer. Again, I hope other parts of your trip were good and my apologies.

There are not enough words to describe just how awesome Mario is! He swooped in like a super hero and saved the weekend after another owner cancelled our reservation last minute. Same day, late pickup and all!
Thor’s Chateau was equally impressive. Everything was obviously clean and in great condition, which is rarely the case. Further, the walkthrough process was extremely informative and made for a seamless weekend!

My daughter and I had an amazing trip. The RV was in great shapenand ran well. Easy to drive and plenty of space. Mario was great and communicating when needed he was right there. Thanks again

I had a fantastic long weekend in Mario's RV. He was thorough upon check-in and left me needing no assistance throughout my weekend with his vehicle. The RV is in good shape, has the base necessities needed for campground hangs, and his communication skills made everything stress free. I highly recommend renting this RV from Mario!
