We are a busy full time working couple with 4 "almost" adult kids and two dogs. We love to camp, hike and do all things outdoors. We decided to buy our Airstream Basecamp 16X because honestly, it is super cool! It is perfect for the two of us to getaway and just enjoy each other. We enjoy going to wineries, breweries, finding hidden spots, and getting off road~ so it was absolutely the perfect choice!

This was our first rental experience with Outdoorsy so we didn't know what to expect going in. We rented Brandon and Roxanne's Airstream for a wedding but also to "test drive" the Basecamp and see how we liked it as a potential future camper. We cannot say enough good things about our camping and rental experience. Winston was comfortable, fun to spend time in and the talk of the campsite all weekend long. Brandon and Roxanne took plenty of time to make sure we understood how to operate all of the camper's key features and included all the necessary items for camping with the Airstream (including custom engraved Winston YETI mugs). We would not hesitate to rent from them again and highly recommend choosing their camper for your next trip!

My wife and I can not begin to express how great of an experience we had with both the owners and the airstream base camp. This trailer is absolute breeze to tow with any vehicle, we have a short bed Tacoma with a brake controller and had zero issues on the highway keeping up with traffic. We towed from Raleigh NC to Key West Florida. The space inside the trailer was very clean and perfect for a couple looking for a cozy and comfortable get away. This was our first long trip with a trailer and it has absolutely sold us on the camper trailer life. Brandon and Roxanne were very accommodating and helpful with every question we had and were just a treat to rent from. We would absolutely rent again in the future and recommend to all of our friends looking to test the waters of having a camper.

We had a fantastic getaway in “Winston”! Brandon and Roxanne were highly communicative and made sure we had all that we needed prior to our departure. “Winston” was in impeccable condition and fully appointed with all that we might need. Thank you!!

We had a great time in the Basecamp. It is a great size for easing towing and setting up/taking down, but still has everything you need to camp comfortably. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and the bath/shower is convenient and spacious enough to get a quick shower. The panoramic windows not only provide great views but they also make the camper feel very open and spacious.
Brandon and Roxanne were great to work with. They communicated timely, were responsive to questions and were very flexible. We could not have asked for a more perfect rental experience.
If you are thinking about seeing some of the beautiful spots in North Carolina, I would highly recommend renting Winston!

We had a marvelous time with ‘Winston’ on our first solo camping trip. We can’t wait to go again!
Brandon and Roxanne had outfitted their Basecamp beautifully. It had everything we needed for a great experience. I will say that unless you have your own sleep pads or are used to sleeping on firm seat cushions, you should consider opting for the sleep package with the memory foam topper. We tried both ways and much preferred having an additional 3” cushion.
Winston was immaculate, and Brandon gave us a thorough briefing on systems and procedures using a preflight checklist, so to speak. We camped the first night in our driveway to make sure we were prepared, then off to Stone Mountain for two nights.
At the campsite, the view out of Winston’s full wraparound windows, and the cross ventilation through the screens on the hatch, door, and windows, allowed us to fully enjoy the outdoors, yet with all the comforts of home.
And towing was a breeze. Because it is narrow, you can see around you with regular mirrors, and it handles exceptionally well; no buffeting; very stable. Other than the pull, you could forget it’s there.
This is a camper like no other, hands down. You just need to experience it.
