About Scott and Kim's RV rentals
We are a young professional couple who enjoy "roadtrips" with our friends and young daughter. The size of our RV is perfect for short, weekend trips with friends, or extended camping vacations with family! We know you will enjoy the ease of driving a smaller unit like ours.

Great first time RV trip. I only rated a 3 for value because I don’t even pay half the daily amount when I stay in a hotel and the premium gasoline was a surprise. But it is what it is I guess. Very good experience overall.

When I picked up the RV, Scott was very professional and went through a checklist of everything that I needed to know. He gave about an hour-long explanation of how everything worked, and as a result, I felt well-prepared for our weekend trip. We didn't have any issues with the RV at all and it was super easy to drive. Kim was very friendly and worked to accommodate a pickup and drop off time that worked for both of us. Scott and Kim were very friendly and I would definitely not hesitate in recommending renting from them.

We had a great 3-generation trip to the Smoky Mountains. Memories that will last a lifetime for my two grandsons, and this happy grandma!

Very thorough with instructions before we took the road; assured us they would be available by text or phone if we had any issues. Great way to test a camping option, that we've never tried, before buying.

The RV was well used but worked well for our family. The bed above the cab is large and comfortable. The cushions on the dinette bed left a gap that we filled with a folded sheet. The queen bed is also comfortable. The bathroom is very small so we opted to shower in the campground but you could definitely make it work. There is lots of storage for clothes, food, etc. Scott was friendly and easy to work with.

We had a great time! We were first timers in an rv, with small children. Scott answered all of our questions and reassured us we would rock driving an rv. Would definitely rent from Scott in a heartbeat! The rv was clean and well cared for! We were into the Black Hills and the RV did well in wind and all of the hills!

Everything was as described. The vehicle was very clean. In fact the windows were so clean that I thought they were open. However the best part was the customer service. Scott was very good at explaining how to operate everything from setting up to emptying the waste tanks. We took it on a short 70 mile trip to Decorah, IA on winding 2 lane roads. It was easy to drive and navigate into the campsite. It comfortably accommodated 3 adults.

We had a wonderful family weekend in the Thor RV. Scott & Kim did a nice job of explaining everything and were great to work with.

This was our first RV experience. Scott was very instrumental in going over the 100 rules of the rental. Make sure you pay attention as we were not thinking about an hour for rules. The ride is very loud and clunky... you can only talk to each other if sitting in front cab. There is much noise all the way around! The fee for running the generator is atrocious.... you get 3 hours and with our trip to Iowa... temps reaching 100 we had to run the air conditioning constantly! So that added 470.00 to our trip! I think there could have been some forgiveness in that fee! There was no forgiveness whatsoever! Also don’t forget you have to CLEAN the RV inside and out!
WOW! That would have added another 2 hours to our rental... instead Scott offered told us we could pay him cash 150.00 to clean it .... a 10.00 Savings from the 160.00 fee that is apparently in the contract! Big deal a savings of 10.00... again Follow the rules! We let him charge the 160.00 so we could get home! The RV has 3 tv’s and not one of them worked! There should have been a discount for that... nothing as there are Rules and Scott follows them to a T!
Lastly the bathroom is the size of a cat litter box! If you are 5 years old it will totally work!
In closing if you like camping and loud driving down the road... this is your vehicle...beware of the rules... very precise’
Leave time to make sure your return is on time & clean! Inside and out... find a car wash near your drop off! PAINFUL!
I’m glad we rented and now know the RV gig is not for us! It’s a great money machine for those who rent... after a few rentals the RV is all cash! I’m sure we paid for the generator if they need a new one! This surly is not our gig!

Our family had the BEST trip ever! Scott was easy to work with and the RV is exactly as listed! 10 days in an RV with our family made for some great memories!

We loved our 3-week vacation in Scott and Kim’s RV and will consider renting it again. A few repairs had not yet been completed from previous renters (a broken ladder and backup camera), but both were communicated with us up-front.

The rental process was a breeze with Outdoorsy & Scott & Kim! Communication was great-answers always prompt & clear. The RV was just as shown on the website. We had a fantastic time on our 2 week adventure and hope to do it again sometime.

This was our first time renting an RV and it was a great experience. Scott was very accommodating and helpful with all our questions. The RV was easy to maneuver, very clean, and was everything we needed for a great weekend.
