We rented this RIG this past weekend, 4/16-18.We are very satisfied with our first outdoorsy experience! I rented this RV as a surprise for my wife whose been working from home for a year. We went to Homochitto Forest, Clear Springs Campground. The owner of this RIG communicated quickly and answered all my questions. He was genuinely excited for our trip plan and gave a detailed overview and inspection of his RIG before we left for our trip. The 24.1 Thor Vegas is easy to drive. Everything worked exactly as presented - A/C, water pump, hot and cold water, toilet, kitchen sink, gas oven and the convection/microwave.I asked about pots and pans, and they were provided. A drawer with a pot (for a large can of Bushes beans), and a small steel sauté pan; a drawer of plastic cold sensitive cups that change color, plastic knives, spoons, and forks, popcorn, hot chocolate packs, and an unopened roll of paper towels. The steel sauté plan worked well in the convection oven. We made hotdogs and beautifully browned croissants.A 4 set of MainStay Target plastic, thin but lightweight firm plates, cereal sized bowls, and 10oz cups were tucked away over the ample sink. Meyers Dish Wash along with hand soap were in the dishes cabinet. Dish rags and a quality dish dry towel were also in a drawer in the kitchen. We had plenty of space too though to stow our own stuff. The gas stove is easy to ignite for flame—turn the spark knob at the same time you turn one of the three burners. Very simple. We used the convection oven to make croissants. Worked out very well. The ice/fridge were cooling already when we picked up the RIG. I’m a milk lover and enjoyed a very cold cup of milk with our meals, especially with the cone s’mores we put on the campfire. We used the gas tank for the weekend. The hot water was very hot. The toilet and bathroom area were pretty big for the size of this RIG. The bathroom smelled pleasant. RV rolls of toilet paper were stocked in the cabinet. It was easy to stow away our toiletries for the weekend in the mirror cabinet above the sink. A toothbrush cup was provided.5-6 bath towels and wash clothes were stowed also in the hanging closet which was very accessible from the bathroom. The sheets and blankets available were clean and nice. We brought our own fleece blanket and pillows. We both slept very well.I brought two small dehumidifiers to plug in on one of the twin beds and then also in the pullout. Great electrical outlets. The retraction of the sofa bed was super easy. Behind the retraction sofa, there were slots for the poles that support the tables, along with easy slots to pull up the table tops. We used the small swivel table between the cab seats all weekend. The outside bays for gray, black, city water hoses were organized and easily accessible. We had plenty of space to stow our firewood, trashcan, and bags of trash. The back bed space worked perfectly for the two of us. They provided clean sheets and two hearty blankets. We gave a few trivial feedback points; the owner was really receptive to our suggestions. The owner communicated through outdoorsy notifications which you can configure on the outdoorsy app; worked out perfectly. The owner’s flexible cancellation policy made me feel comfortable. My reservation payment was processed immediately once I booked the reservation. The $1500 security deposit hold on my credit card posted as advertised. We returned the RIG refueled, cleaned, and swept. The return process was easy. We were several nominal miles over the 100 mile a day range, yet the owner was easy-going and flexible and did not charge us for it.It was a fun, lovely weekend for us! The owner was genuinely happy that we enjoyed our trip.We are already looking to book another reservation in the future!
