In the first 6 months of owning our campervan, we put 16,000 miles on it - 9 states, 5 National Parks, 1 Ocean, many lakes, sunsets, sunrises, stargazing, and fabulous social distance driveway visits with family & friends along the way. I do all the driving and LOVE IT! Behind the wheel on on open road is my happy place :-) I have 2 sons age 9 and 10.5, and our sweet, mushy 165-pound English Mastiff <3 Our motto is, "make a plan and go with the flow." It feels so great to be totally self-sufficient but not have a strict agenda and just GO!

SolMate was a trusted companion on our 5-day 1,400-mile trip through CO and UT. She handles like a car, accelerates like a stallion, and kept us warm on 30-degree nights. 19 mpg is right on. The solar panel is a real plus . . . having an electric hookup every few nights worked out fine. We couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more, and loved the opportunity to try out RVing before retirement. Ellie and Collin are great to work with… knowledgeable and friendly… fabulous experience all around. We’d be happy to take her out again. Thank you! - Tim & Susan

SOLMATE is an awesome van! Unfortunately we weren’t aware before seeing the Van that one of the beds is a pop up tent on the roof. Not ideal for winter van camping. Besides that we were able to stay warm in the van in -10 degree temps at night. The van is comfortable enough to cook in and make coffee! Ellie is very communicative and responsive.

We had a great time exploring the west coast in this van! It was the perfect space for a cozy home on the road and drove very smoothly. Ellie was very helpful, walking us through the entire van and how everything works before leaving. It was an excellent experience!

The Solis worked great and Ellie was a pleasure to work with. I was a first-timer and she took her time to explain everything (some of which I forgot--maybe a little notebook with written explanation on how everything works would be good for people like me). She is very responsive and was super patient with all my questions before and after the trip. I really enjoyed it and it totally boosted my confidence that I, too, can RV!
