On the third day of our rental, Alex's car started making squeaky noise. We didn't thought it was serious because the car was driving fine. The fourth and last day, there was more squeaky and weird sounds, we should've returned it or got it checked by him. But we have itinerary that we wanted to do and not missed. And We also didn't want to spend more for a rental car because we have a certain budget. Anyways long story short, the last day/returned day, the car's break was not functioning properly and it was super scary to drive. When we returned it, Alex was really upset and blamed us for breaking" his car. Although we didn't do anything to his car, he assumed that we hit something which is not true. There was no marks in his car. We communicated whatever was happening, sounds etc. We drove it like we would normally drive. I wouldn't do that to anyone, it would cost me more and I don't want to be in that position ever. I am a very careful safe driver and so does my husband. If we knew that this was going to happen I could've just went on a normal rental car. This is my first outdoorsy experience and I'm not super happy about it. Although I did rented another van in Oahu and it was great, we didn't have any problems with the van.

Easy pick up and drop off, Alex was very communicative and responsive, great SUV for the island.

Alex was very nice and responsive. The car is good, just what we needed to go around in the island. We ended up staying in a place, so didn't use it as an RV.
