Hello! We are Ian and Diana. We have been on the road since childhood, traveling for family get togethers, vacations, athletic competitions, backpacking, climbing objectives, beach trips, and work. Building the ultimate road trip van was an obvious path for us to continue our much loved family life that frequently takes to the roads. We sincerely look forward to the opportunity to share our van and an adventure with you. Please, do not hesitate to message us with any questions about the van or travel in the South East. Our business: Luna Explores, LLC. "Custom vehicle conversions and rentals" When booking with us you get much more than just the van. Everything you need for a great road trip/ camping experience is included. Yes, even Charlotte or Concord, NC airport pick up. Additionally, logistical assistance and attention to important details to maximize your time with the van are provided. We are happy to openly share local knowledge and customize the van to your trip. Travel and tourism studies have shown that travelers when planning, anticipating, dreaming about, and researching a vacation, you can experience as much pleasure as the actual travel itself, if not more. We do our best to enhance this experience through online support, van tours, and phone calls to help you prepare. The van will be tailored to each rental to meet your needs. For example we can install car seats, bike rack, or remove the bench seat and/or the bed to allow extra space. Absolutely loved the rental. Was great on forest service roads and in Pisgah. Would definitely rent again. Ian was incredibly kind and accommodating to our trip.

Bluey is the ultimate choice for anyone seeking a luxurious and comfortable way to explore the outdoors. This top-of-the-line Mercedes-Benz Sprinter RV, owned by Ian and his family, offers reliable performance and safety features, while still providing all the latest amenities and plenty of storage space. Recently, my family of 5 rented Bluey and it was the perfect fit! We were impressed with how spacious and comfortable it was, and with Ian and his family as the owners, we felt well taken care of and had a great experience from start to finish

Despite great efforts to assist, insurance was not approved for the primary driver. Unfortunately, without meeting state insurance requirements, this trip had to be cancelled.

It was fantastic! All the comforts of home- on wheels! Ian and Diana we’re exceptional! I hit the road with confidence! They have outfitted “Bluey” with attention to every detail. From hot nights to chilly ones we traveled in comfort. I can’t wait to plan my next “trip of a lifetime”!

We couldn't have asked for a better first-time van camping experience! Bluey (the van) was outfitted with everything we could possibly need and Ian did a thorough job showing us all the features and how to work them. The van drives and rides well, was a dream to sleep in, and kept us all fed and happy. The kids especially liked the Ca-Bunk-beds, especially the 3-year old trying to push her big brother out of bed in the mornings :). Would definitely recommend Bluey, Ian, and this entire experience to anyone looking to comfortably get away in nature for a few days or a few weeks!

Blue was a very clean, easy to drive and very comfortable RV. We were very relaxed through out entire trip. Ian and his wife provided several additional accommodations free of charge and they responded quickly to all questions. The bed was very comfortable and the cabin space was perfect for me my two kids. Bluey handled the highway roads and high winds beautify. We would definitely rent from Ian again!

We had an awesome trip! Ian was very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. The van was very clean and like new condition, very easy to drive. It’s fully stocked with anything you may need for camping. Overall great experience for 2 adults and 2 kids for 7 days of camping.

Kelly, A whole week with 2 kids!!? Y'all Rock!! This was our vision when designing and building. Thank you for making it a reality. May your kids remember it always. The "Blueberry" nickname has been a hit with my kids, it may stick.

Bluey was a hit! My children loved it. The bed was super comfortable, had everything and more you would need for a camping trip. Very clean. Ian was excellent at explaining how to use everything and there was a helpful, well-organized binder in case we forget how to do something. We will definitely be renting again.

It was an absolute pleasure renting Bluey from Ian and Diana! The ride was not only equipped with exactly what we needed for our cycling trip, but Ian was incredibly helpful in optimizing the van layout for us and explaining how to use everything. Communication with Ian was a breeze—both leading up to and during our rental. If you’re reading this, don’t pass up the opportunity to enjoy a trip with Bluey!

Perfect for our trip to Pisgah Forest. Kids had a blast. Had power the whole time with the goal zero system. Wish we could have stayed longer!!

We had a fabulous time. Ian went out of his way to be certain we had absolutely everything we needed for our adventure. Bluey was in mint condition, well stocked, and comfortable for a week for our family of four. We highly recommend this outdoorsy option.

Our first attempt at an Adventure Van as a family and it couldn’t have been better. When our plans and dates needed to change, Ian and Diana were understanding, flexible and went above & beyond our expectations to ensure we had an incredible intro to Van Life! The kids loved it. The instructions were straightforward and there was excellent communication and hospitality! The Cabunk bunk beds for the kids were cozy, the queen for mom and dad was so comfortable! We slept great! Warm at night, cool during the day. Everything was just as described.
