Nice old van, needing attention though, no fridge, no water, no fuel indication, no odometer. Besides that in dirty condition. Never saw the owner, handed over from renter to renter. Disappointing rental.

We had an incredible trip in Sam's Van. I have rented a few different camper vans in the past and I'm totally sold on Westfalias for their utility. The van ran in excellent condition, it's clear Sam has put a lot of work and love into keep up the condition of the Van that's almost 30 years old. We were a group of 3 and it was the perfect size (it can definitely accommodate 4 inside comfortably) I would recommend the van for moderate to experienced campers who can appreciate the aesthetic and the character the van can bring to your camping trip , I couldn't picture doing the trip in a new vehicle, the vibe of the Van matches the west coast vibe. All of the appliances worked great, lots of storage, a new sound system with blue tooth and USB plug in was sweet to have on the road. We did a large loop of the south half of Vancouver Island from Nanaimo to Bamfield then Sombrio and Jordan River, she travelled great the whole way through.
