Hi! I'm Rob, your host. I hiked the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine when the global pandemic struck in 2020. I took the lessons learned from that experience – self-reliance, problem-solving, and ingenuity – and converted a Mercedes Sprinter van at a local makerspace.   When my first van conversion was completed, I spent a year exploring all of North America, taking in incredible vistas from Banff, Canada to Baja California to more than 30 American national parks and many other places of inspiring natural beauty across the continent. I met many wonderfully diverse people with varying perspectives. I came to understand that the ability to travel has the power to kindle a sense of awe, reverence and respect for this jewel of a planet we call home. I hope I can help you experience that same spirit of adventure and wonder as you take to the highway!
