Just finished my first trip using Outdoorsy. It was a 2-day rental in southern California. I went on the trip with my wife, daughter (kid), son (baby), and my 2 dogs (Cocker Spaniels). Here is my review:Communication - Host (Rob) responds to messages within a few hours. Communicated well and answered all of the questions that I had. Knowledgeable on towing and specifics of the trailer.Trailer Pickup - When I picked up the trailer, he was on time and friendly and helped me get it hitched up. It was my first time towing and his first time renting the trailer, so we both were probably somewhat nervous about it. We took pictures of the vehicle and he had me practice driving it around the parking lot in my car once the brake controller was set up. This process took about an hour, it would've been a lot shorter if I had done this before.Towing - I used my 2008 Acura MDX (5,000 Tow Capacity) to tow for the first time ever. The MDX towed this trailer without a problem. I only towed for a little more than an hour, but didn't experience any problems.Trailer Exterior - Never used the awning. Host provided all of the tools needed to take off the hitch and set up camp. Trailer is only 17 feet long and easily fit in our campsite. It was relatively easy to maneuver once I got the hang of it.Utilities - Water worked great in the trailer, however I couldn't dump the gray tank, and I'm not sure why it didn't work. Host allowed me to return it with gray tank full. Host didn't want us using the black tank, which was annoying, but our campsite had a restroom nearby so it wasn't a big problem, I mostly just wanted practice draining the tanks. Host didn't provide a 30AMP to 50AMP converter for electrical, so I had to run to Walmart to pick one up. Not a huge problem since they're $10, and he said he'll provide that in the future. It was his first time renting the trailer, so it wasn't a big deal.Trailer Interior - The floor plan in this trailer is great. I was able to put a travel crib in the walkway, my daughter and wife in the main bed, and sleep myself in the side bed. It is a squeeze for a family of 4, but definitely doable if you don't plan on camping too long inside the trailer. The AC worked great and kept the temperature perfect while we slept. Didn't use the heater or bathroom. Lighting was good throughout the trailer. The refrigerator didn't work, and the host attempted to help and offered to come to the campsite to take a look at it. I declined the offer, and he mentioned it'll be fixed in the future as he was unaware of any issues with it.Trailer Drop Off - Rob and I quickly took the trailer off of my hitch, and I was rolling away within 10 minutes. Rob was on time and negotiable on the pickup time and location.Overall - Yes, we had some hiccups along the way, but they were mostly due to us both being new at this. My family and I had a blast and it was a great experience. Rob is a good host, and the Casita is a good trailer.
