Three of us -- my wife, myself and our Border Collie -- loved our two week July vacation in Jon Paul's 2020 Winnebago Revel, built atop the capable & agile 19' (144" wheelbase) MB Sprinter Van. Jon Paul is the consummate host. He keeps his van in tiptop shape. It is clean, well cared for, and in like-new condition throughout the interior cabin. Jon Paul kept his "anytime support" promise -- helping us out of a jam when we blew a fuse in the elevator that brings the bed down from the ceiling in the middle of a national park, without cell or Wi-Fi connections. We closed up our table & in 3 mins were back on the park road & able to get WiFi to text Jon Paul from the visitor center to sleuth out the problem via at 9 pm at night. And we were back up at our campsite and ready for bed in a total of 15 minutes. And boy did we sleep well; the van is cozy and comfortable -- we mainly used the screens to let air flow through at night. But on one night, we used the air conditioner and another night we had to turn on the heat. The van is quite efficient on electricity -- we never ran out of power on the solar, and only used a shore power charge once to run the AC on a night where the Temperature remained in the 80s late into the night. The driving, camping, cooking and storage capacity of the van always surprised us. We could park in a regular parking space, make a Uturn on a one lane road, travel at the speed of traffic up and 7% grades, passing trucks and other RV rigs with ease. The gears and suspension are so well tuned that it feels as easy to drive as a full sized truck or SUV. Jon Paul does not mention that he has outfitted the van with an induction cook set, cutlery, and almost everything you need to cook and clean up at a campsite, but we found the one burner induction top stove to be quick, and easy. We thought the 3.3 cubic foot refrigerator might be too small before we rented the van and we happy to discover we could easy keep all our dog food, and our perishable food, enough for 4-5 days of meals, inthe space provided. We would highly recommend Jon Paul and his van to anyone in the LA area looking to try out #vanlufe for awhile.

John was an excellent host that provided us all the details of how to work the van. The van itself was absolutely immaculate in its condition. This van was fantastic for our trip, we are considering buying one as a result or we can rent from John again!

THIS WAS OUR FIRST CAMPING TRIP WITH OUR 6YR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER. THE VEHICLE WORKED WELL FOR THE THREE OF US BUT ITS PRETTY CLOSE QUARTERS. IT IS IN PERFECT CONDITION,JUST LIKE NEW.THE SOLAR POWER ENABLED US TO BE COMPLETELY SELF SUFFICIENT. JP IS A LOVELY MAN AND A GREAT HOST.HE SPENT AMPLE TIME GOING OVER EVERY DETAIL REGARDING OPERATING ALL ASPECTS OF THE VEHICLE AND MADE HIMSELF AVAILABLE TO US 24HRS. WE WILL DEFINITELY RENT THIS VEHICLE FROM JP AND REFER OUR FRIENDS.

Experience was great. I really like the vehicle and Jonpaul was very helpful in getting me up to speed on all the features and also his availability during the trip when I had questions was great and enhanced the experience. I definitely would like to get one one day.

Short version: great camper van & incredible host!
The camper was in excellent condition and worked very well for us (we wanted to rent a Revel to help decide if we want to buy one - we’re going to get one).
We especially liked the drop down bed: it lets you keep the bed made & ready to go without setting it up and breaking it down every day.
Jonpaul was an excellent host and patiently answered all our questions when we picked up the van. He was also incredibly helpful & responsive to questions that came up while we were in our trip.

JonPol is a very nice, gentle, patient and informative person. He was very punctual in replying to my questions and all were resolved fast...Van is super nice. It takes a couple of days to get to understand all the functions but afterwards it become a part of your anatomy...we covered 845miles in 8 days. My kids (12 yr old twins) loved the experience to the point it was hard to convince them to leave the van and do the trails haha!

JP was the easiest, most communicative host and his Sprinter was PRISTINE. We rented from JP for a local production and used the sprinter as our Basecamp. The full bathroom was a major plus but my god did this thing make me want to take a loan and get one for myself. The creature comforts coupled with pure utility are awesome and JP has done an impeccable job keeping up with this thing. I thought it was brand new when I first met with him only to learn he's had it a few years. Don't waste your time with others and rent his!

Vehicle is clean and dialed - it's obvious that the host Jonpaul cares about the details. At our campsite, fellow campers wanted to come over and check it out. Communication with Jonpaul before the trip, and during the trip, was excellent - responses to questions were instant.

This was a great 'first-time' experience! This was the first time my dog and I have gone on an RV adventure. JonPaul was very helpful in explaining everything about his Revel, how things worked, and suggestions for a safe and uneventful trip. He was complete in every aspect of explaining how things in the van worked and was available during the entire trip to help if I needed anything. It was a great learning adventure and I can't wait to do it all again! Thanks, JP!

It was great working with Jp! He is very communicative which is wonderful. I loved many features of his Sprinter. For my son and I to go on a weekend camping trip, it was the perfect fit. Some favorite features: easy to drive, magnetic bug screens, window covers, underbed storage, 4x4, and the Sprinter color. Additionally I very much appreciated the Van was brought to me in new condition. No crumbs or dirt anywhere. Out of respect, I felt the need to return the favor with sweeping out the Van. This was my first rental experience with Outdoorsy and because it was so positive, we will rent again. I'd rent from Jp again too! The only part I didn't fully appreciate is how Outdoorsy handles post-trip costs. Renter will have additional fees upon return. This isn't at the fault of the Owner, simply the way Outdoorsy handles some fees. Again, this isn't a complete bad thing; just a call-out for those interested in hearing both the good and bad. If considering renting this vehicle from Jp, please do. He's an outdoorsman who values his Revel!
