Casual Caravans was so easy to work with
We booked a 3 week Maritimes road trip - the van had everything we needed - the bed was comfortable - the kitchen was clean and fully stocked

We had such an amazing 2 week adventure in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and it was all thanks to this amazing camper van from Casual Caravans The pickup was super easy and Charlie walked us through all of the van and it’s super easy to use systems. Charlie and Sheldon were also super easy to get a hold of throughout the trip when we had any questions. We rented bikes (shoutout Bike and Bean) so being able to rent the bike rack was a huge plus. The hot water for the shower and the sink was really nice, along with the van being fully stocked with everything we needed to cook all 3 meals. Again, this camper van was so awesome to live in for 2 weeks and we can’t thank Casual Caravans enough!

We had a blast driving around casual caravan’s camper across nova scotia. Very well thought and built. Owners are some of the friendliest people you will meet during your travel! 100% would recommend and use again.

The experience was excellent! Everything went smoothly, pick up at the airport, the van and the drop off and return to the airport! No stress, makes for an even better vacation!

Wonderful experience, Sheldon and Charlie are just wonderful. The van is so classy, lots of space, well equipped, nice to drive. Couldn't have been better.

We had an absolutely amazing trip in our Casual Caravans Vintage Mercedes Sprinter Camper. It was a trip to remember and more than we could have imagined traveling through Newfoundland in our mobile fort. It was cozy and inviting on chilly nights and open and airy during warm spring evenings cooking meals and taking in the beautiful landscapes. Thanks Sheldon and team for providing us with a great home base for our travels. Would highly recommend you give Casual Caravans a spin through Canada's east coast.

We discovered Casual Caravans by a blind web search. We called and spoke with Sheldon and explained that we are a couple in our 70’s and were considering a month-long trip to Nova Scotia and Newfoundland but that we were first timers when it came to Van Life. We had many questions, and Sheldon had the answers to all of them and helped us through all the steps. He even had suggestions for travel ideas and destinations, many based on his own travel and life in Eastern Canada. His professionalism coupled with his naturally compassionate nature encouraged us to sign up with Casual Caravans immediately.
Our trip was remarkable. The van was comfortable, reliable and perfect for two older folks who were looking for an alternative to tent-camping (which we’ve enjoyed for nearly 50 years). Casual Caravans offers the best customer service. Sheldon was always available by message or phone for any problems or misunderstandings that popped up. When we encountered a minor electrical issue with the van, Sheldon drove the 5-hour roundtrip to meet us and fix the problem personally. That dedication to customer satisfaction gives first-timers, like us, an added level of confidence and security.
We thoroughly enjoyed our camper van experience and will do a camper van trip again and we will rent from Casual Caravans for any adventures in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, New Brunswick and Labrador. We recommend them highly.

Our van was a delight to live in for three weeks. It was clean and spacious, had plenty of storage, a great mattress, plenty of heat, and ventilation when needed; overall, it had everything we could have wanted or needed.Additionally, the craftsmanship was notable. A lot of thought, effort, and expertise went into the construction of the interior of this Ford van. It was not only extremely comfortable, but also professional in its appearance and function. Sheldon was a fun and responsive host, helpful and eager to share ideas of places to go and things to do. We enjoyed meeting him and transacting business with him. 100% recommend Casual Caravans!

Visiting Nova Scotia and booking a van from Casual Caravans was the best decision my partner and I could have made to make our travels a once in a lifetime experience.
We wanted to explore various scenic locations for the fall time and felt like the best option would be to rent a travel van where we could be on the move whenever we wanted. It was our first time visiting this side of Canada so we wanted to ensure we had the best options available and we are so glad we went with this company.
The van was fully specked out with everything we needed from a comfortable bed, a work station to get work done throughout the day, plus a kitchen outfitted with a sink, a portable stove for cooking, and lots of kitchen utensils. You can tell they put a lot of thought and care into it all.
There was a few nights where the temperature got a little cold outdoors but with their built in heating system we were able to stay warm and comfortable at all times.
Sheldon was an amazing host always available when we had questions or needed suggestions as to where to visit around the province.
Thank you to Sheldon and his team for making our trip so unforgettable.
