We rented an RV from Peter through Outdoorsy. The first night it broke down. We thought ok, we paid for the best insurance which is called “Peace of Mind”. We called the 24 hour roadside assistance but they never got anyone to come out. It was about 4pm the following day when we finally found someone to come out.
Outdoorsy informed us that WE had to pay for the repairs and they would reimburse us. (They have not reimbursed us and we can’t even reach anyone to help us.) We paid $292.75 and they only halfway fixed the Rv. We missed our reservation to our campsite that we spent $250 for and had to Sleep in the back of a parking lot in Albany, NY with our 4 young children. We were left with a false sense of security believing we could relax knowing that if something happened they would be there. That’s what they advertise anyway and that couldn’t be further from the truth. After the repairs were made, we still didn’t have power to front AC or vents, the front outlets, and the tv didn’t work. As my husband was driving down the road in the rain, the windshield was all fogged up and I had to keep wiping it off so he could see to drive. When we finally got back and returned the RV, I submitted my claim to try and get a refund but I haven’t heard anything from Outdoorsy regarding my claim. And on top of that the cleaning fee of $150 that was advertised ended up being $350!
Peter was very sweet and always available to talk and help out, but I’m incredibly disappointed with outdoorsy and the fact that they really left us hanging and I can’t reach anyone to reimburse us for what we spent on the repairs.

Sarah, I'm sad to learn that you feel our RV and the service I provided did not deserve a better rating. I'm genuinely sorry for the electrical troubles you experienced the first night. I offered to find a 24hr RV technician to come look at it after you had trouble with the Outdoorsy-provided Roadside Assistance, which you declined. I know that the one-day delay was disappointing, but please do not forget that you had also received 1 day free on your rental to help us schedule a convenient drop-off time.

Peter's RV was delivered exactly as described, and he helped to facilitate a speedy and comprehensive overview of everything needed to make me and my family right at home on our trip. The RV drove great, instilled a great deal of confidence on the road, and provided for many amazing memories for our kids. The interior was spacious, clean, and provided all of the necessities. We hope to be repeat customers in the future!

Had a great experience using Peter's RV from start to finish. The price point is great for the size and quality of the RV, and Peter and his father did their best to make sure we had a good experience.
