Our family of 5 had a great adventure traveling around northern California for two weeks in the Wandervan. Communication was quick and clear, and they were able to accommodate our needs and requests. The van did not have any mechanical issues and the beds were comfortable. Both my husband and I felt confident driving even though we got the biggest one that was available. A few things we did not think about while making the reservation that others may want to make sure they plan for were the extra fees for insurance, add ons if you're flying in like we did (bedding, kitchen kit, canopy, ect), gas, airport delivery, and campground reservations made it add up quite a bit. We all loved the flexibility of not having to go from hotel to hotel or thinking about checking in and out of Airbnb's. Of course now my husband wants to buy one, so you know that the whole family had a blast overall!

Over all experience was good. The Van worked well and it was nice to experience this type of travel and camping. A few things that were a bit of a hiccup that made the first time rental experience a bit more stressful (forgetting large net, insurance email talking about adding van to insurance never came until last minute so scramble to work with our insurance, and charging us $300 for your insurance when we had mentioned we were sorting out with our insurance, no need for that charge).

My family had a great experience with Wandervans, we hired a large transit and it was comfortable to fit two adults and one kiddo. The wandervans team was communicative and accommodating, the van was clean and the couple of minor items that cropped up (minor sensor faults) were addressed promptly. I’d happily rent from Wandervans again.

Great company, staff and van. We rented the mid-sized Wandervan for a road trip through the Southern Mother Lode of the Sierra's. Van handled the mountains great. Comfortable queen size bed. We could comfortably stand up in it. Easy camp setup. Next day easy to just drive off to the next stunning site. Easy return of van. Highly recommend this company for your next adventure.

I was looking for a basic no-frills van for a 4 day get together with friends. This van met my needs. We cooked outside but slept in the van. The pickup and return process was simple.
