Meet Matilda, our 2024 Thor Scope Class B camper van!
At just 17 feet long, Matilda is easy to drive, easy to park, and ready for adventure. She's basically a rental car and a hotel room all in one.
My favorite thing about Matilda is that she fits into a regular parking space. It makes traveling so much easier and takes away a lot of the stress that can come with driving a larger RV.
Lance's favorite feature is her flexibility when it comes to power. Whether you're plugged into a campsite, running the generator, or using solar power, you'll have the electricity you need wherever your travels take you.
Inside, Matilda has everything you need for a comfortable trip, including a convertible dining area, stove, microwave, sink, refrigerator, toilet, and shower. The Sky Bunk pop-top roof adds extra sleeping space, making her perfect for couples, families, or friends traveling together.
Whether you're watching the sunrise in a national park, enjoying dinner under the stars, or taking a spontaneous weekend road trip, Matilda helps make every adventure memorable. She's comfortable, practical, and ready to go wherever the road leads.

Our journey into van life began on our honeymoon, when we rented a camper van and embarked on a memorable seven day drive up the Pacific Coast Highway, discovering the freedom and adventure it offered. Originally from Maine, we relocated to Virginia due to Lance’s service in the Army. As an herbal medicine maker, I draw inspiration from nature, while together we cherish both meticulously planned excursions and spontaneous escapades—whether exploring serene woodlands or venturing into vibrant cities to uncover hidden dive bars and live music venues. We are dedicated to sharing the joy of van travel with fellow explorers.
