Late Season Passenger VAN Only Special! We find that August/September is too cold for most visitors to use this van for camping, but it is still great for large groups as long as there is no snow on the ground, so we are offering a special rate as the season wraps up. We are dropping our rate from $214/day to $149/day for passenger van only setup. Note: this van is 2-wheel drive and NOT suitable for snow travel, even if you're not leaving Anchorage.This passenger van is set up for a variety of needs:
- Daily rental for local exploration for up to 11 people ($300/day, 400 mile maximum, prep fee may be reduced to $50 if returned clean by owner standards. Contact me via Outdoorsy messenger up to 7 days before the day you want to rent so I can adjust the minimum rental for you.)
- Multi-day/night rental to transport groups up to 11 who have separate accommodations (See add-ons for pricing details, 200 miles per day on average)
- Fishing adventure rental for groups of 4 (Flat daily rate, 200 miles a day on average)...and many options in between!We use this van for family fishing trips and love it!No matter which setup works best for you, 360-degree windows provide great view from every seat!Daily Rental Details: This option is best for groups who wish to pick the van up at or after 7 am and return it same day before 10 pm and is only available for reservation within 7 days of the rental date so we can give priority to longer term rentals. What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
R.
We will be as flexible as possible, though we do require in-person inspection and equipment overview at pickup. On weekdays, we are most available after 4 pm for pickup/inspection. More flexible on weekends. Dropoff can be without owner inspection. If no inspection is performed by the owner and renter at dropoff, owner urges renter thoroughly clean, then photograph/video van, as owner will photograph/video record and Excess Cleaning fees will apply, typically $175, if not returned as clean.

We got this van for family visits and now that we are aware of the shortage of RVs for people who have already planned their trips here, we are happy to offer this fun van to help keep some of those visits on the books. We love to produce and harvest our own Alaska-grown foods and are working on year three of our greenhouse and growing edible garden in South Anchorage.
