Caleb was a wonderful host. He was responsive, answered our questions, and shared great recommendations for exploring Alaska. We rented Hildr because we were traveling on a budget, and it was an affordable way to explore Alaska. The camper included thoughtful extras like USB and USB-C charging, bug screens, camp chairs, basic cookware, an awning, window rain guards, and a pop-up roof for ventilation. It also came with a Milepost guide, maps, a hiking guidebook, a full-size spare tire, bear spray, bug spray, and a propane canister to get us started. Because Caleb has used this vehicle himself, it felt thoughtfully outfitted by someone who genuinely camps. It's clear Caleb is passionate about what he's building. His camping experience shows in the thoughtful upgrades and practical touches that made life on the road easier. Pickup was easy, and it was reassuring to know we could text with questions if anything came up. Hildr gave us the freedom to experience Alaska at our own pace, from scenic pullouts to quiet campgrounds, and became part of the adventure. We made incredible memories, appreciated the great hospitality, and would absolutely rent from Caleb again.

We had a great time using this rig and glad we decided to go for it— to our surprise it slept two people comfortably in the bed! Bed and linens also very comfortable, amenities were very thoughtful, Caleb very responsive. Would love to rent again if we come back!

Our trip was great and Caleb took care of us. There are a lot of things in the car that aren't listed- bear spray, plenty to cook with, blankets etc. If I ever come back I'll look him up again!

Car is great. Caleb was helpful. There were some mechanical problems with the car, that Caleb offered to have repaired, but it was just not compatible with my time schedule of my travels, so I managed to continue my trip even withou openable boot. Car is old, but reliable for driving difficult roads, but it has high usage of fuel. More than I was expecting. Caleb allowes the car to be taken on gravel roads, which is amazing. Reccomend it more for solo traveler, for 2 people there would not be much space, but would be also managable.
