2015 Chevrolet Suburban
Excellent condition stylish hauler, with myriad camping options!Seats up to eight, but perfect for camping with two (plus a dog if you want extra cuddles).Deploy the Roofnest to sleep up above, or sleep inside.Includes a 2 person tent (for the ground) as well, so, theoretically, you could sleep 6 (with a lot of gear to rearrange each night)! It's a standard Suburban all around otherwise. It does have 4-wheel drive for those muddy roads, drive to Deadhorse if you desire; unlimited mileage!
(Remember a windshield is like $750 bucks though, if you're tearing it up on the way to McCarthy or where ever..)Let me know if you want any additional things like extra sleeping bags, water jugs, bike rack, car seats (infant to booster seat), bear spray, whatever. My wife and I have worked in the outdoor or travel industry for 10+ years. We can suggest camp spots, to-do lists, etc. Ce qui est inclusComes with a standard set of everything you need to camp throughout the road system in Alaska. That includes:
• stove
• fuel
• kitchen items
• Yeti cooler
• folding table
• 2 chairs
• bedding for the Roofnest
• sleeping bags and pads for inside
• bear sprayYou can tell us what else you might need, how you're traveling and where you're going and we can probably accommodate. RecommandationsHit us up for recommendations, we know all the spots to go.
A pretty standard route may include:
• Seward
• Homer
• Denali
• AnchorageWe'd also recommend:
• Hatcher Pass
• Matanuska Glacier
• Whittier
• McCarthy
• Valdez
• Fairbanks
• Deadhorse
• Denali HighwayAutres points à signalerPlease don't smoke anything in it. Campfire smoke wafting through is ok though! Pets are great, please clean up after them.

We're an active family and my wife and I are both outdoor educators. We've lived in Alaska for over 10 years and love skiing (all the types), biking (most the types), canoeing, backpacking, cabin trips, skating, and going to the beach with the kids. Ask us suggestions on what to do in Alaska!
