Climb a few steps up the telescoping ladder and find yourself in awe with panoramic views, as you will almost always be surrounded by Alaska’s beauty. Why not sleep a little bit closer to the aurora than the permafrost? The Borealis Bungalow package includes our vivid green trimmed Freespirit Recreation tent fixed atop a 2021 Toyota Tacoma 4x4. Don’t worry about the season or what mother nature might bring, our tents have an extreme weather tested rainfly. Additionally, we offer an insulated layer option for chillier nights. Sleep soundly under the painted sky on a 3” mattress that has been voted one of the most comfortable in the industry. When you wake from your peaceful night slumber, pop down into your outdoor living room and take in the fresh air with with a pour over of Alaska roasted coffee—it’s time to get Out Yonder!

Liza and Ruby offer warm, flexible support, outstanding service, and travel tips. They are highly communicative, quick to respond to inquiries, and accommodating for last-minute extensions.

Reliable driving with easy camping

The Toyota Tacoma drives great, runs and handles well. Its truck-top tent is easy to set up and take down, comfortable, kept guests dry from wind, and the overall equipment is exceptional.

We had a great time with the Borealis Bungalow. The truck drove great, and the tent was a breeze to set up and very comfortable. One of the best rental experiences we have had. Liza was a great host and super helpful!

Exceptional equipment and great communication with the owner! I was extremely impressed with the truck top tent- which was easy to set up and take down! It kept us dry and had no issues with wind (whereas a lot of the ground tents around us did). The vehicle ran and handled well. The owners were quick to respond to any inquiries and we super helpful. Awesome experience!
