Overall the van worked great, but we had some things happen the first night/next morning that made things stressful. The host had us do a self pick-up, so some of the nuances about the van didn't get communicated (we read the whole guidebook and these things weren't in there). I'd still recommend renting the van but just avoid a self pick-up at all costs. The heated water in both the sink and shower was a wonderful feature, and the mechanics of the van were great. Fantastic tires and a very comfy mattress. It's a tight build, but the trade-off is lots of great amenities.
In terms of our rough first night...the batteries don't charge to 100% (only to ~68), so we were very confused about why they weren't going up after 2 hr of driving or if they were going to last our whole trip. The biggest issue we had though was that the fridge was either not on when we picked up the van or got turned off. The button is labeled backwards and also in a spot where it can easily be bumped on accident. So we lost all of our food in the fridge and freezer the first night. There was also water left in the gray water tank, and the sink started backing up. We didn't have service, so we tried to drain the gray water tank a bit to check (in pouring rain in the dark), and so much water came out that we thought it was full. So we left the dishes in the sink. Once we were able to talk to Tanner the next day, he assured us the tank was empty, and it turned out it wasn't entirely full (although we had to drain it for about 3 min to empty it). He helped us with the sink, saying it was just because we were on an incline. It didn't end up being a problem, but you can see why without knowing these nuances and the gray water tank emptying water, it was difficult to be certain (I'm noting here to pass along the info to other renters so you don't have to go through what we did!)
Between the gray water tank and nuances with the sink, the fridge ruining all of our food (it just needed to be switched back on but the label is confusing), and questions about the batteries not charging fully, we had a pretty rough first night. All of this probably could have been communicated if explained in person up front OR added to the guide book. After calling with our questions/concerns and some pressing, Tanner mentioned offering a discount for the first night. My husband was very upset in the moment because of all of these things really making him quite worried if we could continue the trip, and the interaction was tainted because of that. Tanner did end up gaving us a modest discount ($60) off the first night and he waived the extra dump fee (we paid for one the first morning at our campground).
I think for most, the experience with this van has been and would be very enjoyable. I'm leaving 4 stars because I hate to chalk our bad experience up to the van's full potential. But to be completely honest, since these problems arose outside our control or knowledge, overall we didn't feel we were entirely compensated for the hassle.
Other than that, it was a great trip lol :)

Very practical and simple to use. Communication was excellent and prompt. This was my first time operating a van like this, and I found all the switches very conveniently located. The linens were great. The dishware was perfect and everything operated.Seamlessly

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
R.
Electric: There is an external power hook up on the drivers side rear. It’s a 15amp 125 volt plug inlet that uses a standard extension cord. The batteries will charge with solar and while the engine is running.
Water: There's a fresh water tank in the storage facility under the bed in the back if you need to fill it up. You can use the 100ft water hose (with an inline water filter) to fill it back up.
Sewage: There's no black water tank as the toilet is a compost toilet.
Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
R.
We will try to be as flexbile as we can to your requests, but its dependent on other reservations.
Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
R.
To be honest, this is a very simple build. There's only a few switches and things to be concered with. Otherwise, it drives like an SUV!
