"Moonraker" is my Airstream Basecamp 20x, that I bought to have as a headquarters that I could sleep in when at my father's property. Most of the time I have it set up so that you can sleep on the queen size bed on one side of the trailer, the other side set up with a tv/ monitor at the table to get work done. I can configure it for you in a "mobile headquarters" format (great for getting work done while you're out and about) or without the tv / workstation / microphone so that its more suitable for up to 4 people to sleep on the two bed areas.As I have had fun with the notion of calling it "Moonraker" (which is an homage to the James Bond movie of the same name) it sports silver sheets on the inside, and looks very futuristic.There's a full set of metal dishes, tools, extra water, and well prepared and organized for deploying quick, to maximize comfort and the ability to get things done while taking time away from the normal day to day.Ce qui est inclusThe main bed is set up with king size sheets and a comfy comforter. A secondary set of sheets (queen size) are available in the storage area for turning the kitchen table into another sleeping area.I can set it up for you in "mobile headquarters configuration" which is great for having a couple sleep together on one side, and a workstation (including tv that can be plugged into your computer through HDMI) or I can remove the TV monitor and you can use the second area for sleepingMoonraker is outfitted with cookware, dishes, a french press for coffee, a normal tea kettle, an electric tea kettle.Airport pickup from Austin-Bergstrom is possible, although you will need a towing vehicle. I will consider renting my 2014 Toyota 4Runner through a rental site to you as well.Delivery and pick up within a 100 mile radius is available for an extra charge available upon request.
RecommandationsThe Austin area has lots of places to get away to- let me know if you have questions... and if you're considering using this Airstream Basecamp for your mobile headquarters, let me know and I can give even more tips about how to have this be productive.Moonraker (what I call the camper) has been used for couples that want a nice way to get into the outdoors as well as business groups that need a mobile headquarters (for example, used as a headquarters in a parking lot during the SXSW Festival). If you're going to go off road with the vehicle, I am going to ask how much experience you have as the vehicle has been taken well care of.
This camper is much more focused on looking good and being comfortable while getting work done in your remote area.

There were a few issues, which the owner acknowledged. Most were due to the poor service at Airstream in Buda, Texas. We picked it up directly from them!

The perfect James Bond experience for our off-grid weekend! Moonraker powered up when we least expected and provided heat, lighting, cooking facilities, cozy sleeping spaces and WARM 💦! Kevin was an enthusiastic and communicative host! Great guy! Haven’t had enough! We‘ll be back!
