Rules of the Road: The "Slow & Steady" Philosophy Traveling in the Tellaro is about the journey, not the race. To ensure you have the best experience, we ask that you follow these simple guidelines: 1. Embrace the "Slow Lane" This is a Class B van, not a sports car! It is taller, wider, and much heavier than a standard car. The Golden Rule: Please keep your speed to a maximum of 65-70 MPH. Stopping Distance: Remember that you need more time to brake. Give the car in front of you plenty of "breathing room." Wind & Bridges: If it’s a windy day or you’re crossing a high bridge, slow down and keep both hands on the wheel. It’s okay to be the slowest person on the road—you’re the one with the best view! 2. Watch Your "Head" (Clearance) The Tellaro is approximately 9 feet 5 inches tall (including the AC unit). No Drive-Thrus: Please avoid fast-food drive-thrus, bank canopies, or low-clearance parking garages. Tree Branches: Watch out for low-hanging branches in campsites or on rural roads. 3. Communicate Early and Often We want your trip to be stress-free! If something feels "off," if a light comes on the dashboard, or if you aren’t sure how to work the water heater: Call us immediately! We would much rather spend 5 minutes on the phone helping you through a "how-to" than have you struggle or accidentally break something. No question is too small. 4. Respect the Systems The Wet Bath: Only "septic-safe" RV toilet paper (which we provide!) should go down the toilet. Fueling Up: This is a GAS engine. Please double-check at the pump to ensure you are using regular unleaded, never diesel. The Awning: If it’s windy or you are leaving the van for a hike, please retract the awning. A sudden gust of wind can cause major damage in seconds. By driving with care and respecting the equipment, you’re helping us keep the Tellaro on the road for years to come. Relax, put on your favorite playlist, and enjoy the slow roll!
