If you plan to camp off-grid without hookups and still want to use the A/C, you will need a portable inverter generator, which we offer as a convenient add-on at checkout!

5.0Our experience was what we hoped for and more, especially for our first Airstream trip! The Airstream was extremely clean, had literally everything you need for the trip (only thing you’d need is food, really!). You can definitely tell that Susan and Patrick have put a lot of thought into what the guests would need. Bedding was incredibly comfortable, and we didn’t feel the usual uncomfortable-ness of sleeping in camping trailer at all. Susan and Patrick are the nicest folks- Susan spent over an hour in 100+ Austin heat, walking us through and explaining all we need to know about taking Cheyenne out for spin. We had an amazing time, and we are so lucky to have found Susan, Patrick, and Cheyenne for our first trip ❤️

• We want you to have the absolute best time making memories in the Basecamp X! To make sure your trip goes smoothly and the trailer stays cozy for the next adventurer, we just have a few simple guidelines:
• Cruising Speed: The Basecamp X is a dream to tow, but it is happiest and safest when you keep your highway speeds at 65 mph or under. No need to rush—enjoy the scenic route!
• Paws & Co-Pilots: We absolutely love furry adventurers! Pets are more than welcome to join the trip, but we just ask that they stay off the cushions and are never left unattended inside the trailer. Please make sure paws are clean before jumping inside so the floors stay nice and tidy.
• Off-Roading Limits: While this is the rugged "X" edition with extra ground clearance, it is still a lightweight camper, not a rock crawler. Dirt roads, gravel campsites, and maintained forest service roads are perfect. Please avoid extreme 4x4 trails, deep mud, or tight wooded tracks that could scratch the aluminum.
• A Fresh Space: To keep the interior smelling fresh and clean for everyone, the trailer is strictly smoke-free and vape-free.

• We want you to have the absolute best time making memories in the Basecamp X! To make sure your trip goes smoothly and the trailer stays cozy for the next adventurer, we just have a few simple guidelines:
• Cruising Speed: The Basecamp X is a dream to tow, but it is happiest and safest when you keep your highway speeds at 65 mph or under. No need to rush—enjoy the scenic route!
• Paws & Co-Pilots: We absolutely love furry adventurers! Pets are more than welcome to join the trip, but we just ask that they stay off the cushions and are never left unattended inside the trailer. Please make sure paws are clean before jumping inside so the floors stay nice and tidy.
• Off-Roading Limits: While this is the rugged "X" edition with extra ground clearance, it is still a lightweight camper, not a rock crawler. Dirt roads, gravel campsites, and maintained forest service roads are perfect. Please avoid extreme 4x4 trails, deep mud, or tight wooded tracks that could scratch the aluminum.
• A Fresh Space: To keep the interior smelling fresh and clean for everyone, the trailer is strictly smoke-free and vape-free.
