Rental comes with a full set of GSI cookware, lodge cast iron grill, Camp Chef Teton 2x stove, Kelty Sleeping bags, Mountain Summit heavy duty roll top table, a 70 quart Coleman extreme cold cooler, 4 camp chairs (2 high 2 low), an ax, bow saw and all essential meal prep equipment. RecommandationsWe love looking for the kind of places that are either completely dispersed or smaller, well spaced out campsites in really beautiful spots. We are happy to share our compiled list of spots in Montana and a growing list of places in Wyoming. The 4 Runner is a very capable 4x4 but it is not built for heavy off road terrain. It does have a set of Bridgestone K02 tires on stock rims but there are no rocker boards or skid plates. We just ask that you be sensible. We do have the vehicle inspected by a professional off-road customization shop to give everyone peace of mind that everything is as it should be, before and after your rental.

5What an amazing trip! Graham and Francie know what’s up! They had us totally prepared and organized for a week long trip. The tent was incredible, super easy to set up and take down. 5I rented this 4Runner for a 9-day trip and it worked out perfectly. Graham and Francine were very helpful and quick to communicate. The car was spacious, easy to drive, and came stocked with everything I needed for camping, including bear spray! The tent was comfortable for two people, but you could easily fit more, and was simple to set up and take down each day. Everything made the trip so smooth and enjoyable, I’d happily rent this setup again!

5It was an amazing experience renting the 4runner for our 4 day long family overlanding trip. Graham and Francine had equipped the rig thoughtfully for all our camping needs. The rooftop tent had plenty space for our family. Graham was very prompt in communication. Pickup and return process was as smooth as it could be. All equipments were functional and I'd highly recommend the truck.

Set up: 1 min video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mpy9znXX48 There are 6 long metal poles with hooks on end – the two longest hook into the front opening. The other 4 hold the rain fly up over the side windows.

How to close the iKamper

Take down: 1 min 30 secs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gw6pOXHCZkk Make sure both mattresses are flush with the back (hinge side) and left side of the iKamper Don’t store anything else in the iKamper when closing Remove all 6 hook poles from window and front openings. Zip up side windows with exception of plastic cover – this allows air to escape Zip up front window ¾ of the way As you pull down straps to close you may need to tuck in excess fabric on sides before locking in.

What is Toyota KDSS ?

This Toyota 4Runner is equipped with the optional KDSS (Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System). KDSS acts like a sway bar that provides a much better driving experience during normal driving conditions when traveling above 12 mph. We have added the ability to turn off KDSS when traveling above 12 mph (eg - driving down a dirt road). The switch is located to the left of the steering wheeling, next to the windshield wiper defroster. The allows a smoother ride when not on a paved road.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

You can pick up the camper at our place for free. Alternatively we can pick you up at arrivals and/or meet you at the airport for drop off. There is a fee for this service reflecting the time for us both to drive to/from airport and effect of blocking off both our calendars .
