Welcome to the LainnaBug!! This is a 2019 Airstream Bambi Sport. It’s a 22’ long Front Bed design with a dinette that converts into a large twin bed.What are the benefits to towing an Airstream over other trailers? Airstreams have a unique design that cuts down on drag and crosswinds. The all-aluminum body helps to keep the rig lightweight in comparison to other trailers of similar size. The low center of gravity helps stabilize as you’re driving down the road.Kitchen comes fully stocked with everything you’ll need to camp! You’ll find a Keurig coffee maker for those who need daily caffeine (like I do). Also stocked: flatware, cups, dishes, and can & bottle openers. A small assortment of miscellaneous kitchen utensils can be found in the cutlery drawer, and there’s a small pan and covered pot available for use. Blue-light refrigerator with mini freezer to keep your food cold and fresh.The LainnaBug can run on city electric/water, or you can rent the 3300watt Generac generator, and go completely off-grid! With the generator, you can pull over and fire up the LainnaBug as if you were at a hotel!The LainnaBug has a brand new hot water heater that supplies the entire rig. The LainnaBug has an indoor and outdoor hot shower for rinsing off after a long day of adventuring. Powerful AC unit with adjustable vents for airflow that can quickly cool down the entire space. There’s also a rooftop ventilation fan to help pull air out of the LainnaBug, if needed.All supplies needed for hooking up at a campsite are included. Potable water hose included. Caitlin and her husband were fantastic hosts, making the Airstream rental experience seamless from start to finish. Caitlin responds quickly to any questions—no matter how many you have—and never makes you feel like you’re asking too much. Their thorough walk-through upon arrival ensures you’re comfortable with everything before hitting the road. The Airstream itself is spotless—not a speck of dirt or dust in sight. The linens and blankets are fresh and clean, and it comes fully equipped with everything you need, including plates, cookware, silverware, toilet paper, towels, and more. Plus, Caitlin provides a detailed manual for any troubleshooting, which is incredibly helpful. She remained responsive before, during, and after our trip, making the whole experience stress-free. We originally took the Airstream to Devil’s Lake, Wisconsin, but with storms and a cold front moving in, we decided to relocate to Starved Rock. Packing up and moving was a breeze. If you’re considering an RV rental, you can’t go wrong with Caitlin and her husband’s Airstreams. Highly recommend!
