Live the #vanlife in the Rocky Mountains!
We have recently converted this 2005 Chevy Astro van into the outdoor Canadian adventurers dream.'The Wombat' is super reliable and comes with everything you will need for your Canada trip including all cookware, utensils, storage space, heating, A/C, linen and a roof rack tray for extra storage + an optional canoe! The van is nice and short so if you've never driven a van or RV before it's ideal for everyone and easy for parking or manoeuvring about the mountains. Seats 2 people max.We include a Family Discovery Parks Pass to use in all Canadian National Parks valued at $138 so you are free to enter and explore all the national parks! Some specifics:
-Portable camping stove and propane tanks
-Portable cooler
-Built in sink in the van (hand pump so no noisey generators)
-Camping cookware including pots, pans, plates and utensils, dishwashing detergent etc
-Camp mugs
-Complimentary coffee, sugar and tea
-Linen, warm blankets and pillows
-Extra small blanket for chilly nights
-Electrical inverter for charging laptops and devices on the go
-Subwoofer speaker for those roadtrip bangers
-6 usb charging ports
- 1 x Iphone charger, 1 x samsung charger
-Aux cord for music
-Awesome heating and A/C!
-Axe
-2 front seats with the cooler in the middlePlease note: the bed goes sideways in the van to save space so if you're on the tall side your legs Will pop over the side a bit. We have travelled extensively this way with no worries, but works best if the shorter person is on the inside and the taller on the outside so their legs are free to come out the side.Dog friendly, but please not on the bed or blankets! :)Optional Canoe for $30 a day:
2 person canoe, with straps to put on the roof.
This is the best way to explore the glacial lakes in the rocky mountains! Don't wait in line or pay ridiculous prices for canoe rental at Moraine Lake or Lake Louise and instead bring our canoe. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!Cheers,
Lyss + Irving
