Two campgrounds here, Fogdall and Cedar, with a mix of full hookup and electric sites. Great for fishing, hiking, and biking. Note that this one is first come, first served with no reservations, so have a backup plan if you want to camp here on a busy weekend.George Wyth State Park, between Waterloo and Cedar FallsAn urban wildlife sanctuary with camping, over 10 miles of trails, and fishing and boating across four lakes. The campground has electric and non-electric sites, showers, and a dump station, plus direct access to the Cedar Valley Trail network. All five are family and dog friendly and make for easy trips whether you want a short drive close to home or a bit further out for a weekend getaway.
