Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?

Ruby is owner delivered and setup. Trailer will not be operational to the renter. The owner will accommodate any renters that would like to understand the features of the trailer

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?

Ruby is owner-delivery with leveling, setup, and hookup. All you have to do is show-up and immediately start enjoying the outdoors

How do I book Ruby the Retro?

You can easily book Ruby through Outdoorsy, Ruby's travel partner. After securing your campground reservation, you can book Ruby to be delivered to your site and setup for your arrival. Ruby will review your reservation, confirm your reservation, and confirm your delivery. Please make sure to add Ruby's owners to your reservation to have access to the campground

Do I need to secure a campsite with full hookup?

R.

Ruby has a 17 gallon black tank and a 34 gallon gray tank. This will accommodate 2-full days in campsites that do not have full-hookup (sewer, power, water). Ruby will come with a 36-gallon portable tank in the event you need to dump the tanks. If you select a full-hookup site, you will not need to worry about the tanks at all, and will only have to let the black tank run dry after 4+ days of use. Ruby's owner will walk you through these setups depending on your site arraignment

Nick & Meghan have a story! While enjoying a lake-side view at Mistletoe State Park during Meghan's birthday getaway (in the family pop-up camper tent), we got talking to a camping host. Understanding that they traveled from park to park for months at a time with no mortgage, no power bills, no water bills - while enjoying nature at it's best, got Meghan and I thinking "We could Definitely do this!". Driving home that weekend, with a new born and a pile of debt, we sold everything and bought a 37' double bunk and lived in it full-time for a year. What a journey, and no more debt! Since then, we've built a tiny-shed from Home Depot and turned it into a home (look up "Lucido Home Depot Shed Debt" story on google), built our forever dream home, sold our dream home, built a rental cabin in Ellijay, and currently own a home in Dawsonville, GA. We can't stand still :) Ruby is our opportunity to bring back joy into the community. Your opportunity to reconnect with nature and family.
