Super efficient diesel (20mi/g) low mileage 2WD Sprinter Camper. This van is fully equipped for road tripping and camping anywhere in comfort - from Nat Parks to stealth in suburbia. This van is designed to have exactly what is needed: Hot indoor shower stall for post rainy-hike or Century ride clean up, outdoor shower too. Inside 2x bike storage, so your toys won't get rusty. Microwave, coffee maker, induction cooktop, solar and electric water heater w 24 g water tank, big sink, indoor camping toilet, and plenty of storage for food, clothes and gear. Plus, a large 2 compartment fridge/freezer for those margaritas & ice. This van also has thermal full-blackout blinds for stealth camping even in the winter, plus a separate diesel heater to really blast the warmth if needed. This van's inside is fully electric - no propane, with a large battery & inverter and has efficient solar, alt charging and 30A onshore power meaning you'll always have enough juice AC & DC to power extended off-grid adventures. Stream movies at night, listen to the van's satellite radio anywhere, or just disconnect in style. The van also works well as an office away from the office with chairs that rotate 180 and an adjustable fold-away table for food or laptop. The van has StarLink internet ($10/day) available as an option to enable work from Anywhere (5 min setup). Works great! The van has flares on each side to extend the bed length and slide-away step to access the bed. The bed will accommodate 2 people up to 6'2". It has USB charging and lights, shelf storage, a Max Fan and side windows that open, perfect for keeping cool in the evenings. The van works great for general travel, but was designed with cyclist's needs in mind. It can carry 2 bicycles inside for security (see pics) and has separate rear drawers for tools and gear, plus a built-in bike stand and work lights. It also has a tow hitch for trailer or (your own) extra bike rack.Note: NO Burning MAN event.Ce qui est inclusThe Van comes with bedding and pillows, all plates, kitchen and paper items you need. Plus, we add a hot water kettle, french press, frother, induction cook top, pans, plates and cups. The large 2 compartment fridge has a freezer (margarita ice) and there is plenty of drawers for extended food and clothing.
RecommandationsThe van has a few trips, Oregon, Tahoe, So Cal. Utah, Nevada, ID & Montana. But we built the van for road tripping to the National Parks, East Side of the Sierra or up the CA Coast. Its perfect for a weekend trip to Santa Barbara or a week long trip to Moab. The van can travel on the freeway with ease, and on gravel roads, however, the van wasn't built for 4WD off-road.We hate to encourage you to work on your vacation, but if needed, you can remote-work anywhere (with good sky access,) via our StarLink system.Autres points à signalerDefinitely no smoking in the van. Although it's ok to have a dog, the van won't accommodate anything but a small dog. Sorry, NO BURNING MAN - been there, it just gets too crazy dirty. The water can be filled as requested (short trips don't need 24 g). The fuel is diesel, and this van is efficient compared to gas (20mpg) and there is never a problem fueling. Note: outside CA, diesel can be cheaper than unleaded gas.Return Time is 11am. A later return time can be requested. Unless otherwise noted, a return after 3pm will have a charge of $25/hr. There will be a charge of $100 if the inside toilet is not dumped if used.

Great van, great host. Michael did a great job communicating about how to use the van and made pick up and drop off mellow and easy. Would 100% recommend and use again.

We had an outstanding time and Michael’s van was perfect for us. We took our mid-size dog and although it was cozy, we managed to navigate our van life for 2 weeks. We visited the Eastern Sierras and UT/AZ. We used the indoor & outdoor showers which both worked great. Both of our gravel bikes easily fitted into the back of the van and we felt at ease knowing they were safe when we were out doing other activities. We used the microwave and hot plate every day and the water tank was easy to replenish. I’d thoroughly recommend this van and we hope to rent it again in the future.

Michael Sexton is a terrific host. He responds quickly to any texts to answer questions and was very thorough in explaining how to most effectively use the van. The refrigerator and freezer are large enough that there is no need for a cooler. The van is super well insulated so we never needed extra blankets. The indoor toilet worked perfectly for us who need to go in middle of the night. I felt like a fortunate snail carrying my house with us everywhere we went from to lake to the outback to town we always had everything we needed!

Lovely Sprinter completely set up for freestyle exploration and camping. Solar kept the fridge cold and the Nespresso hot!
Would have extended my trip another week but this van is in demand….
The owner (who also designed the efficient layout), was a pleasure to work with. I give this whole kit and caboodle my highest rating and hope to to do it again soon.

Q.What about bike storage, how does that work?
R.
We designed the van with the needs of cyclists in mind. You can store 2 cycles (road or mountain) INSIDE the van to keep them safe and dry. See the pics. We also have some bike tools and a bike maintenance arm/stand for working on your bike. The bikes are secured by the front fork and the fork holder may need an easy adjustment depending on the size and type of your bike. Please let us know what you have.

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
R.
No real special action is required, however, everybody's van operates differently. There is a manual provide. There will also be about a 20 minute van go-over, to make sure you are comfortable operating all of the systems on the van. (electric, hot water, dumping). You'll be a professional in no-time.

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
R.
There are no direct water or sewage hookups to the van. There is a 24 g refillable water tank, so filling often isn't necessary. We found that a shower uses < 3 gals and maybe 1 gal/day water use for other needs. There is also a 12 g grey water tank which can be dumped electronically at a dump station. The toilet is a simple camping toilet which is easily dumped at a dump station also. There is a 30A campground plug in which often isn't needed bc of the large battery and solar charging.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
R.
We're flexible. Please inquire with your specific needs.
