2014 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter
Welcome to Buster! An 80 sq ft tiny house on wheels, self-built over 6 months with love, and named after my easygoing dad.Buster is a 2014 Mercedes Sprinter with a 170" wheelbase passenger van. Long enough to spread out and tall enough to stand! The passenger model with panorama windows was a must because where we were going we had to keep the wonderful and ever-changing views in sight.Buster is loaded with the best name brand products, a big solar system, large water storage, and many ammenities to support off-grid trips while keeping you safe and comfortable.*Please note before booking - max height is 5’ 9” for laying fully extended on the bed, and max weight is 200lb for using the toilet.Dinette / Bed - There's a dinette that's great for meal time, cards/games, or getting some work done. When it's time to slow down (or just mid-day), the dinette converts to a comfy sized bed for 2. It takes about 5 minutes to convert each way. Sometimes we leave it in bed mode :)Kitchen - The kitchen is equipped with a large sink, filtered water, large fridge, induction stove, pots and pans, plates, bowls, silverware, coffee grinder, aero press coffee maker, trash and recycling cans, and plenty of room for dry food storage.Bathroom - The bathroom situations are both covered with a separating composting toilet. It sounds weird at first, but it's kinda great.Climate Control - Residing in Texas, and wanting to be limit-less when and where we travel, we added an A/C unit that is powered by the solar panels and batteries. This keeps us (and our dogs) comfortable day and night! Also, wanting to explore colder climates, we added a diesel heater that keeps us toasty warm even is single digit climates. We also have insulated window covers for every window that are very effective at maintaining desired temperature.Privacy - All windows are heavily tinted, making it near impossible to see in during the day. At night, we usually put the window covers down so no-one can see in.Adventures - The van is home on wheels. Matt and Abbi here. We love being active and outside. The van idea was sparked when we were camping in Big Bend, in 20º weather, with the wind blowing sand into our mouths. We love our van!

Matthew was an excellent communicator; Buster was a fabulous van. It is well-designed & built out with many thoughtful touches. Clean, organized, and efficient. Drives well. We would definitely rent Buster again.

We had an incredible trip for two weeks with Buster! Matt was a perfect host, incredibly attentive and personable. He offered us recommendations for our travels and was willing to bring the van to us to start our trip in Tennessee. This was a huge help as we were coming in from the west coast! He checked in with us along the way and made sure everything was going well throughout. Would undoubtedly rent with Matt/Abbie again!

Matt was great. Very easy and incredibly available to us with any queries. Buster is clean and beautifully designed. We had the best #vanlife time. Most grateful for some unbelievable moments of a lifetime with nature.

Fantastic Camper Van! We loved it. It has everything anyone would want on a trip: great AC, two-burner stovetop, refrigerator with freezer, Queen-sized bed that folds up to make a dining table and seating area, loads of locked down storage cabinets. The Sprinter drives like a dream, easy to maneuver, remarkably good mileage. Matthew responded to all of our questions quickly and accurately. He was great in helping us plan our trip. Even delivered and picked up the van for us. Our dogs were happy and cooled by the AC system. The van is large enough to stand up in, plus there was a great space for one of our big dog’s crate. We highly recommend this wonderfully crafted van for all of your travels, whether camping or just touring the country. We will definitely rent this again for another, longer trip. (Forgive the bad photos, but wanted to show how large it is inside, even if the bed wasn’t made. Ha! Matthew’s pix are much better than mine.)
