Communicative and accommodating

Dan provides fast communication, is flexible with pickup/drop-off times, offers thorough orientations and tips. However, there are multiple instances of booking cancellations by the host.

Easy and safe to drive

The RV is easy to drive, handles hills well, and keeps occupants warm and dry. It comes well-stocked and clean, but the refrigerator performance can be inconsistent.

Foire aux questions

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

R.

We will do our best to accommodate your travel plans. Please reach out to us via outdoorsy messages and we confirm or propose alternative pick up and drop off options.

Q.

Does The Rental Include An Extra Generator?

R.

We do have an extra generator. It's nice especially if you are camping in remote areas, we recommend taking it as a backup to the main generator. We've never had problems with the main generator - it's mostly a backup plan. 4 free generator hours per day - additional hours are $3/hour Please let us know if you like to include it.

Q.

Return Cleaning

R.

Upon your return, we clean and sterilize all the bedding, surfaces, kitchenware, fridge, and bathroom/shower. If the RV returns with heavy use and a lot of cleanups - there will be an add-on to cover the labor of getting the vehicle prepped for the next renter.

Q.

RV How To's

R.

We have a travel book and manual for the RV that is very helpful in how to operate all of the features of the RV. It's an easy check-off to make sure operationally the RV is less likely to have something stop working. There are great recommendations on how to drive the vehicle safely and without any incidents.

Our family has always believed the best memories are made outside. We love mountain roads, rivers, quiet campgrounds, and exploring the American West together. Yellowstone has become one of our favorite places because it still feels wild, untouched, and reminds us how incredible nature can be when it's preserved. We created Mountain Roads RV to share that experience with other families. Whether you're planning your first RV trip or returning to a favorite destination, we hope Scout becomes part of your adventure. We take pride in keeping our RV exceptionally clean, well maintained, and ready for the road, and we're always happy to share travel ideas, campground recommendations, or local tips to help make your trip unforgettable. Adventure awaits, and we hope Scout helps you discover your next favorite place.
