1.0Started first day of trip with AC and refrigerator not working on our drive. We were stuck with no AC in 90+ heat. Their "tech company" said they would help us on our way to our destination and we did not hear from them for 24 hours. Had to take matters into our own hands and get an RV tech near us to assist. The RV tech we had to use took more than 2 hours to find the solution and overall charged $450. When their tech finally arrived they only asked about the fridge. It took over another 24 hours for the fridge to be up and useable. We had to purchase a crazy amount of ice to keep anything cold because of this, yet all was asked for was the grocery bills paid. Again I was constantly praised for getting everything fixed and handling the situation, but once I returned the RV promises started being broken. All they asked for were receipts and told me it would get taken care of. Richard even said "what can we do to make this right" then decided to pick apart everything and not give us what we asked for. Not to mention all the extra food we had to buy that would have cost them way more. Owners had another RV rental same weekend that they complained to me about and Richard consistently praised me for being able to handle everything and being great at communicating. They clearly changed their minds most likely due to what they had to pay for with the other renter. Thought it was going to end well with getting fully reimbursed only for groceries and tech work when I could have asked for much more. We endured lots of pain and suffering through this. Also made a comment about "wondering where the renter was when he saw a 4 foot 11 inch woman get out of the car". We were happy to handle everything on our own and only get back what we requested and everything would be fine but acting like this post trip was the real problem.
