“Salt” is a clean, pristine, and mechanically sound custom-built van. Reviewers found it surprisingly easy to drive, comparable to an SUV, and noted its comfortable ride. It features ample storage, a comfortable bed with heated blanket, full kitchen essentials, and strong battery life.

5.0Host was very prompt and friendly. Van was very clean and mechanically sound. Key to the van is a little funky in cold weather so keep in mind you can take the actual key out of the fob to open the doors if needed. The custom kit for the van was nice. We were not huge fans of the propane fire kit. Loved the chairs and appreciated the opportunity to rent the extras. The heated blanket was a bonus. We would love to rent from these folks again in the future!

5.0Great host, quick meet up to tell us about the camper van and sign paperwork, friendly and flexible with pick up and drop off times. Enjoyed the van - it was the perfect amount of space for 2 people. We were able to prep meals for campfire and it made a great home base for our trip to Zion.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

Our 11:00am pick-up and 12:00pm drop-off times are pretty flexible! Just let us know your schedule for your days of arrival and departure, and we will do our best to accommodate.

Do I need to keep the electricity plugged in at a campground?

Usually, no! This van is equipped to go off-grid, with a large battery bank of 560Amp Hours. With average energy use, the battery lasts several days before needing a recharge. Also, the batteries recharge as you drive, or while the engine is idling.
