2011 Toyota Tundra
This a 2011 4 door Toyota Tundra. It has 5 seat belts, and a 6.5' bed providing plenty of room for surfboards, beach chairs, coolers, or whatever else you will need on your vacation. It also has a soft cover for the bed to keep it (mostly) dry when you are transporting your luggage. If you are not familiar with Kauai, it can rain quite hard here sometimes with wind. I can't guarantee the bed will stay 100% dry in those conditions.Ce qui est inclusThis truck is outfitted w/ a cooler and 2 beach chairs for those of you staying at a hotel. You will fit in on the island with this truck. Nobody will suspect you are a tourist driving around enjoying yourself, and nobody will be giving you the attitude that "you don't belong here" as you drive. For your convenience, the truck will be waiting for you at the airport with the keys in a secure lockbox. When its time to leave, just take it back to the airport and put the keys back in the secure storage. THIS IS OFFERED AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. Also- you like to surf or snorkle but don't know what to do with your keys? Put them in the secure lockbox while you paddle out!RecommandationsA few helpful tips for those traveling to Kauai:
1) Certain sun blocks have been banned from the islands. you may want to wait to buy until you are here. Please help protect our reefs
2) The road to Hanalei experienced a landslide in March. Construction is ongoing, but there are only certain windows of time you can exit and enter Hanalei. Please consult the Kauai HDOT website for updates and info.
3) Do not go past posted signs, especially if there is an ocean or a cliff on the other side. If you don’t see any locals swimming in the ocean- don’t go out! The ocean can change at any time and rip currents are common on Kauai. I recommend looking at swell forecasts as well as weather forecasts for ocean activities. Anything over 4ft swell is going to be difficult for the average swimmer/snorkeler.Autres points à signalerNo taking it on the sand at the beaches! If it requires a tow because it was taken somewhere it was not supposed to go, it will be a $3,000 charge nobody involved wants to deal with.
