Charley the Van is a one of a kind Sprinter van designed for beauty and functionality down to the last detail. From the cedar ceiling to add warmth and a spicy crisp scent to the air, to the curved cabinetry to store your personal belongings, to the custom art piece hanging above the kitchen, inspired by our travels in Charley, you won’t find anything like Charley in the roads (or on Instagram).Powered by the sun, Charley has 300watts of power supply, which gets stored in three paralleled batteries, all neatly hooked into our Goal Zero inverter which easily and descretely offers USB, 110 and 12v for all your power needs. Need a little extra power? We’ve got a shore power line so just park somewhere with a hook up and you’ve got all the power you could ever want or need. Everything in Charley was designed and built to run on minimal energy, from the dim-able LED lights to the 12v sink pump and low draw refrigerator. There is a two way fan to pull hot air out during the day and bring cool air in at night and a super bass-y sound system for when you want to create your own socially distanced desert dance party.After living in Charley for three months while traveling across the country, we got the van in tip top shape to cover all of your needs, whether is a weekend trip down the coast or a weeks long tour of our national parks. There is a portable “flushable” toilet, a way to shower, a two burner propane stove, fresh running water, all of the kitchen accessories (pots, pans, utinsels, plates, bowls, silverware, chopping boards, dry storage for pantry goods).There is a TON of storage in the “garage” accessible from the back doors to accommodate your suit cases, hiking gear, bikes and whatever else you want to bring along, which is thoughtfully lit with LED lights so you can sort out your goodies even after the sun sets.Charley was built to comfort so there is a pull out table that slides between the two bench chairs to have your meals or plan your trips. The passenger seat swivels if you have a guest. And when you’re ready to retire after a long day of exploring, the day bed pulls out into a queen sized bed topped with 6” foam mattress.Charley is an older model of Sprinter, but these Diesel engines are fairly indestructible so in can years, Charley is just hitting his prime now.Ce qui est inclus2 burner propane camping stove

Charley the van is 100% a passion project. After surviving covid, we bought a sprinter, built it out in 5 weeks and set out to explore this beautiful country of ours. My partner and I lived in Charley for over 3 months and made several upgrades and installations to the build while we were on the road. We filled it with trinkets from our travels and with lots of love, which anyone who enters it will feel. We had such an amazing journey traveling around in our custom van and living the van life, we wanted to share the experience and the freedom with others while we are working back in the real world. We hope you enjoy our van and perhaps we'll see you out there on the road!
