The whole family had a wonderful experience driving the RV up to Lake Tahoe via Highway 395. It was a well-balanced trip, with nights spent at RV parks along with the occasional hotel stay. Throughout the journey, everyone was comfortable and able to fully explore and appreciate the vast openness of the American West. We were also uniquely positioned to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States in Goldfield, Nevada—a once-bustling gold mining town that now sits quietly in a remote stretch of desert. Even so, it came alive with fireworks and festivities. The RV performed reliably the entire trip, handling the climb over the Sierra Nevadas with ease and managing the descent into Death Valley just as well.
