Check out our kit built teardrop camper! We enjoyed the build and now can't wait to see where it takes you. Start planning your 2026 travels now before our calendar fills up.If you've got a tow hitch, you can hook up and hit the road. Made of wood layered in fiberglass, the trailer and camper combined weighs less than 600lbs. Just about any vehicle is able to transport and maneuver our camper with ease. No prior towing experience is needed. You’ll have everything you need whenever you pull over to explore the great outdoors, cook a meal or get some rest. Inside, you’ll find a queen-sized mattress, complete with plenty of pillows and blankets that make up your own cozy den. Out back, the galley kitchen features a spacious countertop with a stovetop, cooler, pump sink and all the kitchenware you’ll need to prepare a real meal with a different view every time.Whether you're looking for a quick weekend getaway or a longer adventure, any parking spot can turn into your home base. We love getting off the grid and enjoying the simple things in life. We designed our camper for likeminded adventurers. Our camper is only 14ft long including the trailer tongue, which is shorter than most vehicles. It's also narrow, at just over 5ft wide. This, along with the ability to maneuver the rig by hand when unhitched since it's so lightweight, allows for you to use our teardrop at many campsites that are described as tent only. Always check with the camp host, but know that it's possible and usually accepted!Enjoy the experience of camping without…• setting up a tent when you’d rather be doing anything else
• cooking on a picnic table, or worse, the ground
• uninvited bugs and critters
• drastic temperature swings
• sleeping on hill
• the constant rustling of tent flaps in the wind
• waking up in a puddle
• struggling to pack a dirty, damp tent into a too-small stuff sack
• a rock in your back all night
... or the cost of a full-size camper! The beautiful wood and fiberglass design turns heads and sparks conversation wherever it goes. Make lasting memories, rent our teardrop camper today!Detailed instructions on how to hook up the trailer, unpack camp, and pack everything up will be provided.Ce qui est inclus• Bedding (sheets, comforter & plenty of pillows and blankets)

Autres points à signalerTeardrop campers are small! It is the perfect cozy size to fit 2 people lying down or sitting up, but there is no indoor standing room. If you desire more space, our camper is not for you.A teardrop camper is an upgrade to a tent or car camping. It is not comparable to a full size RV. We do not have hot water, toilet, shower, microwave, fridge/freezer, etc. We have outfitted our camper for the best off the grid experience possible. Let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

Frequently asked questions

Q.

What kind of campsite do I need for a teardrop camper?

R.

Our teardrop camper is smaller than most cars (14ft long, 6ft wide), and weighing under 700lbs, it can even be maneuvered by hand once unhitched. Many campground websites will say trailers aren't allows in tent sites, but if you check the site size our teardrop and one vehicle usually fit just fine! A RV/pull-through site is not necessary. Always check and abide by camp rules otherwise.

Q.

Are there hookups?

R.

We have a battery which powers the ceiling fan and cabin lights. A rental always starts at full charge. When used conservatively, the battery should last for at least 3-4 days. If you're taking a longer trip or plan to use these features extensively than you should consider having an electric hookup. Otherwise, a hookup site isn't needed! We do not have water.

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off?

R.

Just ask! We do self service pickup and drop-off unless specifically arranged. This allows for you to start your trip earlier in the day and end it later. We do offer deliveries. For long-term rentals, we are willing to arrange a delivery further from the Norfolk, VA area. Inquire for delivery pricing.

Q.

Is there air conditioning?

R.

There is no AC. We have a battery powered ceiling fan along with 4 mushroom vents, one in each corner of the cabin, which constantly circulate fresh air through the small space. Opening both doors in the evening also flushes the hot air out before bed.
