RecommandationsThis is the perfect adventure rig for ski trips and exploring Utah's five incredible National Parks in the offseason (the BEST time of year to see them). Explore the Uintas, go mountain biking in Moab, or even roadtrip to the Grand Canyon. I have driven Vandy as far as Southern California and the Sawtooths in Idaho. It did great on the hill climbs and mountain passes of Death Valley. Let me know if you are headed somewhere local because I might know of some good boondocking sites. I'll give you the scoop on the closest free campsite near Bryce Canyon, BLM land just outside Arches, and the best backpacking loops in Capitol Reef.Autres points à signalerWhile the van can generally handle some gravel or dirt roads where some high clearance may be required, it is of course only 2WD so don't try to go anywhere too crazy with it. In my experience the biggest risk of getting stuck is mud and snow on roads that look well graded.
Smoking is not allowed in the van. Please fill the fuel tank and clean up after your trip.

Foire aux questions
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
R.
I am generally around all day, especially when expecting pickup/dropoff. Keep me updated with any delays and I can usually make it work. Almost every rental I've had so far has had a schedule change at some point.
Q.
Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
R.
If you are concerned about driving a large van, the biggest difference is really just the height. The high roof may require you to slow down a bit more when turning and don't forget to watch for low hanging branches. Take dips perpendicular to prevent the side to side rocking. be patient when backing and don't be afraid to hop out and check behind you often.
Q.
Can I pickup the van and drop it off somewhere else? (different city or state)
R.
Feel free to let me know any potential plans and I can try to help, but these requests are often difficult. You would have to cover the cost of my travel to the destination as well as driving back, fuel cost, etc. It probably makes more sense to take an extra day to drive back and fly out of Salt Lake.
