• free camping at the skyway bridge is also a gem if you get out there early enough to snag a spot. Good fishing spots.
• if you need to find last minute campsites use the free wandering labs platform to alert you for campsites to rent.

Frequently asked questions

Q.

How do I empty the toilet?

R.

The toilet has two different compartments. We encourage you to use the pee tank only. To dump the pee tank, undo the side latches on the toilet. Lift the toilet top up and pull the black handle to gently and carefully remove the tank. Empty this in the sewer line that most rvs would hook up to at a camp site or at the black tank disposal pipe at dump stations. It can also be dumped in the restroom toilets.

Q.

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?

R.

Electric is easy! Once at a camp site, take the extension cord and plug it into the three pronged outlet that is on the outside of the van. Run the extension cord to the regular outlet. It will plug into any standard plug like plugging in an appliance. Can even hook up to an outdoor house outlet. Sewage has no hook up and is self contained in its tanks that have to be manually emptied when full. Water line can be filled through the circle cap on the outside of the van. Always use the filter.

Q.

How do I properly fill the water tank?

R.

Using the lime green hose and the filter attachment hook up to the water spigot and stick the other side into the circle opening on the side of the van. Fill up till water spills over. Traveling with a full water tank will decrease gas efficiency. It’s best to fill up at camp sites. To empty, make sure water pump is on under the sink. Attach the hose to the faucet by the rear of the bed and empty out the back doors. Also convenient to hose things off or sandy feet.

Q.

How do I turn the water on?

R.

There is silver switch under the sink. Flip that up and you will hear the pump turn on. Please be cautious using the pump for extended periods of time so the water pump does not burn up. If the water tank is empty the pump will make a weird noise and not shut off. Please make sure to turn the water pump switch off when driving or the tank is empty.

Hi! I’m Brit—a lifelong traveler raised in a military family, with roots in New Jersey, South Carolina, and Maryland. After years of moving and exploring, the open road became part of who I am. My husband and I took our two boys on a full year of van life, chasing sunsets, traveling coast to coast, hiking trails, and waking up to beautiful views. It was the adventure of a lifetime—and it brought us to Florida, where we’ve since put down roots. These days, when I’m not out exploring new trails or campgrounds, I’m knee-deep in the garden—growing food, teaching others how to do the same, and staying grounded through nature. Our campervan is a reflection of our travel lifestyle: simple, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked to help other families enjoy the road just as much as we have.
