European design has finally landed in the US! Built in North America, this brand new offering from the Erwin Hymer Group of Germany will have you out in the bush without leaving the comforts of home. A compact yet roomy studio on wheels with the state of art technology of EcoTrek with lithium batteries, under the hood generator, the Aktiv 2.0 with roof top will take you and your growing family to places you never thought possible.This is a brand new Hymer Aktiv 2.0 Class B Campervan with all of the modern amenities including a bathroom and shower all based on the Ram Promaster van body. The RV comes with screen doors for the sides and rear, a queen bed in the rear, roof top to sleep up to 2 adults, TV, kitchen, and comes with tons of storage. There is storage underneath the bed which can hold surfboards, a kayak, even a bike. It is equipped with a huge bank of lithium ion batteries allowing you to run the fridge, A/C, TV, computer or music for hours without having to run a generator. James was super helpful and responsive. The vehicle was just as advertised and in great condition. It was a pleasure renting from James/Susan and we would do it again. The layout of the Hymer Aktiv 2.0 is incredibly well thought out and efficient.

James was such an amazing person to work with! He explained everything in detail and was very patient with my questions. The RV/camper van was also in terrific condition; I've been daydreaming about having one of my own ever since I rented from James. The interior is smaller than your standard RV but there is actually plenty of storage and the amenities worked well. I also liked that dumping the gray water didn't require going to an RV station (you can dump in a toilet, and it's actually not as gross as I thought it would be).
