The Ford Transit camper van is the perfect vehicle for the couple who wants to be extra comfortable on the road and have ample sleeping and storage space. The front seats swivel toward the back for a nice sitting area while camping. To cook a meal we include full kitchenware, 12v fridge and a two burner cook top. The back bed easily transforms into a table and seating area for 4 to dine or play games inside the van when the weather gets bad outside. There is also an awning for sun and rain protection. At the rear of the van there is a hot outdoor shower with 20 gallons of fresh water on board. There is a auxiliary battery for charging devices and for powering the 12v refrigerator. You have the option of plugging into shore power for full 120v access or using the onboard inverter. There is a propane furnace for keeping you warm and dry during those cold rainy days.When it’s time for bed, 2 people can comfortably sleep on the queen size bed in the back of the van. We include a memory foam mattress, down comforter with duvet, pillows, sheets and towels for 2.For the kitchen we include a roll up table, fold up chairs, 12v cooler, two burner gas stove and stocked kitchen ware that includes just about everything to cook a meal for 4.We take your vacation seriously. We give each vehicle a thorough mechanical inspection before every trip insuring your road trip to be hassle free. We have been in business for 10 years, have had 1000's of happy customers and our shop is located close to the Portland airport.

We had a great week in the Obsidian - we slept comfortably with the doors open and the big nets up listening to the sound of nearby streams. 100% would recommend renting from Road Trip Oregon - the van was great and Rico was very helpful. This was such an enjoyable way to travel and see the area - and we didn’t need to plan too far ahead since we could sleep anywhere we could find a good spot in the woods.

Out of all the rental camper van options in the area, we are SO glad we landed with Road Trip Oregon! This was a perfect van to take up into Mount Rainier for a few days - it really had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We were thoroughly briefed of all the amenities before heading out on our trip, and all of them worked wonderfully. It was great not having to worry about bringing along essentials like dishes/utensils and other random cooking/camping items that were provided by RTO. We would absolutely consider renting again if/when we are back in the area!

Our normal pick up time is 11am however special arrangements can be made to pick up anytime between 9am - 4 pm subject to availability. Please confirm a pick up time at least one week before your rental and make sure to let us know if you are going to be early or late. Rentals are based on a 24 hr rental period meaning the pick up and drop off times are the same. It is possible to extend your drop off time however we charge extra in 1/2 day increments. You may drive on paved, secondary or gravel roads, however driving off road or on 4×4 tracks is prohibited. The renter is liable for all damages to the vehicle, tires, towing charges and other expenses as a result of driving off road. Travel into Canada is permitted. Travel into Mexico and to Burning Man Festival is strictly prohibited and the entire security deposit will be forfeited by the renter if there is evidence of travel into Mexico or Burning Man. Some of our vehicles are pet friendly and there is an additional fee to add a pet to the reservation. SMOKING is prohibited inside the vehicles at all times. Evidence of smoking in the vehicle or transporting pets in the vehicle without permission will result in a $250 fee. Towing of anything is prohibited at all times. Sitting or standing on hood or roof of vehicle is also prohibited.
