We have a Supplemental Rental Agreement to clarify particulars with the RV. Our intention is to have the Falcon ready for a family of 4 to be able to fly in to Portland, with clothes, and be able to take off in the RV after a grocery store visit and be able to camp. We do make adjustments to inventory based on feedback and continually try to improve the experience. We also update the RV and will continue to as time goes on. Items are subject to change but our intent is to provide more, not less. We will be in contact a week before your departure to clarify items and to final coordinate destination, pick up times, etc.RecommandationsNothing better than taking an RV to the coast. Every Climate is only an hour a way from Portland.
If you are staying at a state campground in Oregon be sure to book early, as the sites fill up quick. A recent delivery experience at a local wedding venue caused us to now offer deliveries. It was an awesome experience for the renters and pretty easy for us.
We have already set up calendar reminders to reserve our personal state park reservations for 2025.
Festivals and tail gating need to be discussed but "Falcon" has seen Phish and Dave Mathews (3x) at the gorge so we are flexible. One of my favorite things I ever attended in an RV was a superbike race and it was AWESOME.
Will ask questions about your destination but it is to help planning and making sure the rig is appropriate for your trip as well as set expectations. RV's are NOT hotels. Pay attention to the rules portion. This is our personal motorhome and we have this side business to help defray our cost of ownership. With that in mind we expect it to be returned in same shape that it went out. We don't expect the outside to be washed or the floor to be mopped to perfection, but it should be well swept, chairs should all be clean. We do provide shop vac and most cleaning supplies to keep it fairly clean.

James was consistently responsive, answering all questions quickly. He provided excellent, thorough walk-throughs, eagerly teaching guests how to use the RV and ensuring a smooth experience from pickup to return.
Easy to park, fully equipped
Despite being larger than expected, the RV was easy to park. It came fully stocked with amenities like a comfortable king bed, ice machine, BBQ, and a convenient generator connected to the main gas tank, providing a luxurious 'home away from home'.

5.0We had an awesome trip (other than rain at the Oregon coast). James' RV was spacious and well stocked. It was easy to park (even backing into a campsite near Newport Oregon) and set up. James was a pleasure to work with and answered all my questions before the trip. I enjoyed meeting him in person and he did an excellent walk through when we picked up his vehicle. This was my first Outdoorsy rental and an excellent experience.

We include a guidebook in the RV and update it with any questions we have thought of or questions we have received.

What is an SRA?
R.
Outdoorsy has a fairly good contract that will protect all parties in terms of any issues. Many items are left to arbitration so as to be able to cover a wide variety of vehicle types and situations. To clarify certain items we have a Supplemental Rental Agreement that clarifies and tries to address issues with out particular RV before they may happen. i.e. Awnings are fragile and expensive to repair, they are also not covered by insurance and damage is likely to exceed your security deposit.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
R.
Both my Wife and I work Full Time. That being said our schedules can be flexible if scheduled ahead of time. We will do what we can to accomodate your travel schedule. Keep in mind that there will be a tutorial time during pickup in order to familiarize yourself with the operation of the RV. We usually meet at a large parking lot in Hillsboro, OR. Return is usually to our house so as to be most flexible with timing.

Delivery to Campsites for Events

We now offer delivery for the RV. Last year we delivered to a horse show and a wedding. Both were awesome experinces for our renters. They didn't have to worry about driving or set up. I met them on location when they arrived at their destination, set up the RV. Reviewed the operation of the entire vehicle. I showed up on their last day and picked up the RV. It was far better experience all around than I could have imagined. For them as renters and us as hosts.
