    Frequently asked questions

    Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

    R.

Pick up and drop off times are between 1 and 6 p.m. Please call to let us know if you will be late dropping off the trailer to avoid late fees.

    Q.

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?

    R.

The trailer has an electrical plug and approved hoses for water and dump hoses for campgrounds that provide those options. They are easy to attach. A 3500 watt generator is available for an additional fee. This will provide more than enough power to run everything on the trailer as well as build up the battery when not in use. It's a great benefit. See add-ons.

    Q.

What does your trailer weigh and what size vehicle will be required to pull it?

    R.

The trailer weighs 6050 lbs. dry weight, with a 7500 lb payload. Minimum required vehicle is a full size 1/2 ton pick up or similar frame SUV. Check out this website to see if your vehicle meets the 7500 pound requirement. https://www.generalrv.com › tow-guides. YOU MUST to have a 2" receptacle for my towing system and sway bars. Please note that I'm willing to deliver and set up for you within a reasonable distance. All you need to do is provide a 35 ft space for trailer.

    Q.

How much time will it take to hook up the trailer?

    R.

The basic answer is 30 - 60 minutes depending upon your experience. Pick up includes reviewing basic operations of electrical, water, tanks and heating systems, vehicle inspection, and expectations upon return ... completing paperwork. If you have not towed a trailer this size before, most likely a short road test. Much of this you can cover in a few videos and save some time.

Judy and I have camped most every year for the past 50+ years, by ourselves, with our family, kids and grandkids. We started with tents and sleeping bags. Since then we've had a variety of tent trailers and travel trailers used for camping. For us camping is a time to relax, recharge and slow life down. We highly recommend it. Our goal is for our guests to enjoy the same simple pleasures of time together outdoors. We do our best to help you along the way.
